Yea the idea for the thread came from Martin Gardener who use to write for Scientific American. Had a column there always on mathematics. One of those columns was on self referential themes. Where the idea for this thread came.

I used to read Martin Gardner's column every month.

A lot of history to this thread...how long you think it would take to go back and read it from post 1?
