Well good news we managed get an ID on the race of beings left in those abanonded ships. They were known as the Krag, a neutral race, Apparently they were here trying to rescue the last known survivors of their race. From what we could piece together from their ships messages they were no surviving members of their race when they got here. Obviously since they perished here as well their race is now extinct. A very sad story. 🙁
