I also got a brief glimpse of a scroll called CHISYM ANARCIUM then saw a brief vision of what looked like a space-time collapse with everything falling in on itself. 😀 The CHISYM PLANE is home to, as I said before, those beasts that inspired man's tales of monsters and horrors. There are few things that speak of that realm, as noted before. One thing all survivor's spoke of was that scroll, the ANARCIUM. Old, it is, created long ago by a chaoscaster, a powerful sorceror of darker magics. This old one discovered ways to call forth and give form to those in the plane, and carved what he knew into the immutable bark of the Silvershard tree of Andurina. It contains incantations of summons that go from lowly denizens of the CHISYM PLANE that inspired man's imps and goblins to great beasts that gave rise to dragons and the kraken to beyond, forms so terrifying man had no name for them. I am afraid Methrobium will summon all these. Most are no trouble for the likes of us, being not really sentient, and are more annoyances than anything. Even the larger beings, like the dragon analogues, are merely beasts, ferocious but not intelligent. What we have to fear is if he summons those few in that realm that possess intelligence. One in particular is of concern. Khairn, as he called himself, is a horror beyond words. He has no body, merely a shifting mass that takes whatever shape is most suited to his current foe. He is what eventually destroyed the old chaoscaster, for his is the last summons on the scroll. When the old sorceror summoned him, his very first act was to rip out his summoner's heart and eat it whole. He then proceeded to devour half of a galaxy before being sucked back into his realm. You see, beings of that plane cannot long last in this world. Even the most powerful among them are eventually pulled back. Normally this process takes millenia, but as they take damage, it erodes their hold on this plane. When damaged enough, they are pulled back through a tear in space and time and returned to their world.
Khairn, as one of the 'generals' of the CHISYM PLANE, is skilled in all forms of combat, although he is particularly adept at illusions. He can make foes see things that aren't there and then some. It is rumored that he once made a great foe believe that he himself was a demon, and shortly thereafter that noble warrior took his own life, victim of the illusion. One must keep their eyes open with him.
One thing is certain: As long as Methrobium has the scroll, he has a nearly limitless army to call upon. While it is unlikely he can summon more than one or two beings of Khairn's power at any one time, he can call forth vast armies of all the other beings in that realm. The scroll must either be destroyed or captured, and quickly.
