Ah yes. Camouflage seems rather useless with that lot about. I'd gotten so used to them up there that I had forgotten they were still using mi cabeza as a pillow. 😀

Any clues as to what lies up these stairs?
 
Well lets me fill you in on what we know my good friend.

First some background :
As you know we discovered this planet has a portal that leads to a most evil realm. That realm holds the remaining surviving Flying Vorpal Bunnies. Some of the beings in that realm are known as The Takers. Very evil to be certain but as we found from this temple not the ones in charge. The beings in charge are still somewhat a mystery but from my visions I can tell you they are composed of almost pure darkness. It is a type evil we have yet to encounter. One of cold calculating cruelty. An evil that dwarfs even Methrobium's.

With that said this temple has a crystal tha activate the entrance to that realm. However this temple has also been codcuting research most vile. Attempts to creat super undead beings. They are using genetic engineering, alchemy, necromancy and hyperdimensional quantum physics to try to creat undead beings with powers that would surpass those even of THE THREAD. Fortunately the research has not progressed that far but it is far enough to have created some truley vile and powerful monstrosties.

And recently:

Level 12 of the 13 levels in this temple holds I believe a Hyperdimensional Quantum production research lab to produce hyperdimesional undead and eventually to combine those powers with the other lab. A most vile place is this temple and once we find the crystal to actvate the prtal to the other realm it must be destroyed.

Such foul happenings. 'Tis no wonder I did not like the feel of this place when I entered it. Tampering with the dead does not tend to end well, in my experience. 😀 😛
 
Yes I believe as we investigate further we may encounter undead with not only genetically enhanced powers and attributes but also with the ability to transmute themselves and being hyperdimensonal a top of all that. It would seem the powers of the other realm are trying to build a formidable army to overtake this realm and other realms as well I fear.

Even our hyperdimensional pine air freshners have trouble cutting through the odor. 😀 😀 😛
 
Yes I quite agree. The cosmos deserves good clean air and certainly they are in violation of the Intergalactic Air Freshness Act #21576549.2 . 😀 😀 😛
 
And goodness knows that act has not nearly enough enforcers to hit every violation. We'll have to exercise some vigilante justice methinks. 😛
 
I quite agree. I am certain they are also in violation of the Intergalactic Foul Odor Amendent #127 and the Hyperdimensional Stench Decree # 2893. The latter I think authorizes the use for deadly force provided the offenders can knock a Valxioxian Stench Vulture off a pile of manure from a distance of 100 meters. So I think we are ok there as well. 😀 😀 😛
 
You don't need to tell me twice. I imagine complete and total disintegration is about the only effective solution in this case. 😀
 
I have found total disintergraton to be an effective odor removing tool. 😀 😀 😛
 
Not much is better, aside possibly from creating a black hole at the source of the odor. Odor and source b'gone! I think I gave a few quantum singularity projectors to the collective armory at some point...
 
Ahhhhh yes I remember might be a good time to pull them out. They are also quite good at taking out hyperdimensional nasties as well as removing foul odors. 😀 😀 😛
 
I suspect, however, that these walls will never see the true removal of that stench, however. *Plugs in a few glade scent-things, futilely* 😀
 
Unfortunately you are likely correct. Nothing is as hard to remove as a well entrenched stench. There was a rumour in Heaven that THE CREATOR had to destroy his frist attempt at creating the cosmos cause it had some nasty smells he just could not get rid of. 😀 😀 😛
 
That is most discouraging and provides all the more reason to exterminate the sources before they can contaminate anything further. 😀
 
Yes I agree. I would hate to have the cosmos stenched up enough to where THE CREATOR would feel the need to "recreate it". 😀 😀 😛
