Yes, graphics are much harder to deal with than text. 😀 😛

Yes especially 3d art. There can be more problems in terms of copyrights with those things. 😀 😀 😛

Well its not with the images per se. As an example suppose I make a 3d piece of art with a chair in a stunning space setting. The chair object I use in my 3d program is not an object I have made but one I downloaded. The image of course I produce is entirely my own design. However if the person whose 3d chair object I use has stipulated its not free for commercial use then I am technically still in a bit of trouble if I make money off my stunning Chair In Space picture. With 3d art its best if all objects and texture are either made entirely by the user or are considered ok for commercial use. Sometimes there are gray areas. 😀 😀 😛

Thanks for the explanation, now I understand. You have to verify that you can legally use each object that is downloaded rather than created by you. 😀 😛

Yes that is the best situation. However sometimes things get messy there was a case where someone charged for a 3d object of a female to be used in Poser. Turns out he copied the hands and feet off another female object of someone else and used them to build his object. He was certainly in the wrong and hand to work out stuff with the publisher of the other female object. However the people who bought his somewhat plagerized object and used it for commercial images of their own were in a very gray area. 😀 😀 😛
