True. Its the same here most of the problems lie at the top.

For example they sent a team of execs to Italy to look at their granite. A review panel asked dont they make granite here in the US. 😛 They said well Italian Granite is the best. LOL. The review panel then said "Cant you have them ship a piece of Granite for you to inspect." They replied "Well anyone who knows anything about Granite knows you have to look at a really large piece to inspeect it properly." LOL

Such is the waste of money that goes on here. In the mean time they keep cutting bus lines.

The MTA pushes Tranist Lines cause there is a higher profit margin there. Trouble is a Transit Line only takes you from one specific set of places to another set of specific places. You still need buses to get people to all the places they need to go. However buses dont generate as much profit as the Transit Lines do. They are four major Transit lines now Red Line, Blue Line, Green Line and Gold Line. More are planned and all are a big waste of money for the most part. 🙁

Yup exactly.

There use to be a bus that would go right from the Valley to LAX (total trip time in early morning was about an 1 hour) The part to LAX got cancelled. So to get to the airport from the valley you have to take that bus to Westwood and take the Culver City Line Bus to Imperial station then take the G shuttle bus to LAX. Culver City buses dont start till like 7 am or so and the buses dont run as often.

OR

Take a local MTA Bus to the Red Line; take the Red Line to The Blue Line; then take the Blue Line to the Green Line; take the Green Line to Imperial Station; Take the G shuttle bus from Imperial Station to LAX. That trip take about 3 hours if you are lucky.

Yes they ruined the whole thing and they keep cutting more and more lines. I would hate to have to rely on the buses here to go anywhere. 🙁
