Good evening my friends Sorry for not being around much this past week My company had gotten a contract with a GM plant in Ohio to bring them parts for the Chevy Cobalt car

I was one of the warm bodies closest to be used Glad it's over now I had to put in 12-14 hour days on average 🙁

Yes writing like art is something that cant always be rushed. Sometimes though a break helps a lot.

We got a set amount per round trip It picked up on the south side of Pittsburgh,then took the parts over to Ohio,then took empty part racks back to PA

Roughly a 180 mile round trip In theory we could have done 2 round trips per 14 hour period

But with the delays at PA and Ohio,we were lucky to do one round trio 😡

They probably didn't think we would have been delayed when the contract was signed But boy oh boy did my company know of the delays we had to put up with

Lots of pissed off drivers :ignite::Grrr:

Not sure if we will get any detention pay We did get a good amount of pay per trip It actually went up $50 per trip 😀 😛
 
They should pay you by the hour. 🙁 I hope they paid you well at least.
