I guess it was. Dad is not complaining. LOL 😀 😛 The hard part was picking up the old 35 inch Cathode Ray Tube type set and bringing it outside.

Yea I am replacing them out with LCD even with my art systems. Too heavy and bulky the CRT type monitors. 😀 😀 😛

CRT's have more consistent color and brightness then LCD usually but its not worth the addtional strain and energy for it. 😀 😀 😛

Its a subtle difference. Usually noticable when you view the LCD from a different angle. 😀 😀 😛

Its the brightness level that changes most but there are some subtle color changes too. Not nearly as bad now with new monitors. 😀 😀 😛

I only notice cause I try to take that into account with my screen savers and wallpapers. A screen saver is usually viewed when not at your desk while a wallpaper is most often viewed head on. 😀 😀 😛

Yup. So a wallpaper I make a bit less bright so if you get up it does not overwhelm you. LOL 😀 😀 😛
