They sure did. It was a joy to see them score 5 runs in the first inning. They were never seriously challenged after that. 😀 😛

I mostly ignore the American League so I rarely thought about him during his 12 years with the Yankees. 😀 😛
 
He wasn't the Yankees' manager when the Dodgers last met them in the World Series, of course. That was back in 1981. 😀 😛
