In a "workplace" where one person is ever inside, the cab of a truck? In a "workplace" where no other worker and no customer ever enters? That is absurd. 😱

The Anti-Smoking laws here are really ridiculous. I never smoked myself but I think as long as the product is properly labeled you should be allowed to do what you want.

They talk that here in NYC, too, if the smoke is noticeable in the hall outside your apartment. But they haven't passed such a law yet. 😀 😛

Yea hasnt passed here yet either. Right now they are too busy trying to increase the sales tax.

Exactly. They also try to increase the taxes on cigarettes too with the excuse it will help people too quit. Which if you think about it is a bit hypocritical they are trying to take advantage of an addiction to get you too quit your addiction.

Not sure. I know the taxes on them though have created a large market for black market cigarettes. Sorta like that prohibition thing you mentioned. 😛

Its a big enterprise here in LA as well. Basically they have created the market by driving the price so high its like extortion.

Hauling them from North Carolina to New York state without genuine NY tax stamps on them is high pay but high risk. It's a felony if you're caught. But I've read that the Mafia has very good counterfeit tax stamps, almost like the real ones.
