If I get gravy,I usually ask for it on the side I don't mind some on my mashed potatoes,I just don't want them drowning in gravy 😛

I would say I dont like most things drowning in gravy. Same way I feel about mayonaisse. I got a egg mcmuffin thingie once and the person put mayo all over it. Kinda ruined it for me.

When I do have mayo I only have a smidgeon and only on certain things. I feel the same way about sour cream. Its like oh great give me some of that creme that has gone bad. yummmy. LOL
