I dont have any riight now they are on the other computer. When I back up I may post an example or two here and get a few opinions. I may watermark the images as well not sure yet.

A watermark is a way for me to show you guys the work and still use it in a screen saver or wallpaper package. It does show who made the work as well, but since its usually over the image it makes unattractive for people to steal. Not that any Armada members would do that but certainly these pages are freely accesed and anyne can enter and copy them. 🙂

They are not so useful in terms of selling items cause most people dont want a wallpaper with a watermark on it. If its too small its easy enough for people to remove and use the images as their own anyway. So its a bit of a catch 22.

I know. One reason I grew tired of deviant art. People would download all your stuff, use it as wallpapers, then have the nerve to trash you in the forum. :Grrr: Its just too easy to steal anything off the net. That includes music and stories. You basically have to view anything you sell as having a certain money making life and after that time. You just have to move on to newer things.

I wouldn't take something that was yours, but I can't say someone else wouldn't. I'm sure they are magnificent, and you should keep them safe with you. However, I must say that I dont think there is way to sell watermarked images to the public. Put them on your site as examples of what we can order. :ilikepie:

I trust you, mils and General Zod. 😀 Like you said there is no way to guarantee that others woud not take the images for themselves. None of the stuff I am selling is watermarked by the way. You do need registration codes to unpackage it though. 🙂 Also like I said you have to look at art these days as having a fixed moneymaking life. Just too easy to take stuff especilly stuff on the net.

Thanks hun. 😀 :wub: Yea there are several commercial programs that do the registration code thing. Some only run like 50 or 60 dollars. Not bad. 🙂

Not me I put in 7 years of getting up at 3 am and 7 years of getting up at 2 am. Now I finally get to sleep to 8 am. 😛

Yea I have an odd situation. If I got up at 7 am Dad would be in the bathroom hogging it up till about 7:30 or 7:45 anyway so I would not get anything done anyway. LOL
