What got me is how mad they got when a bunch of the California bases got on the closure list 😀 😛

Yea that was just for show I think to pretend they were against for a bit and then go whole heartedly behind it.

I remember when George AFB near Victorville,CA closed Then Norton AFB by San Bernardino,CA closed(I was based there)then March AFB nearby got turned into a Reserve base 😀 😛

If I am not mistaken,the civilian workers on the bases to be closed were given the option to move to another base at the govt. expense 😀 😛
