Pretty good. I have some neat Portal like pics I am doing again. I love those. They are rather invovled I need to do 3 or 4 rneders for textures before I can do the main render for the picture itself. Then I usually touch up in postprocessing. So getting to the final product can be a bit involved. 😀

Thanks. I also have a bunch of pics I turned out that look like those end scenes in 2001 A Space Odyssey where there were these shooting psychedelic planes. Those look neat too. 🙂

A render is when the computer computes an art scene that you have set up. 😀 😀 😛

I had coffee (iced) this morning, and then got ready for a get together at my friend's house. It was from 2-5:30. Then I came home and took a shower and a nap.
It was raining here, so all my friends with children were stuck in the house, and chaos ensued. Bwhahahahaha. The kids range from 2 to 15. There were 13 people there, and it was LOUD. 😀 😀 😀 😀

What does that mean? 😛

A 3d scene consists of

A) Objects IE sphere, cubes, chairs, boats etc.

B) Textures for those objects IE diamond, rock, stone, steel, etc

C) Lightong arrangments IE sunlight, spotlight or point lights


When all those things are set the computer can then compute what the image will look like. That computation is commonly called a render.
