Coney Island was fine. 😀 😛
On Friday night, the Brooklyn Cyclones scored two runs in the bottom of the 9th to pull out a 3-2 victory from the jaws of impending defeat.
On Saturday I spent 8 hours on the beach watching tall, beautiful, athletic, barefoot women leaping about in the sand, hitting (or failing to hit) a volleyball.

Indeed so. And, compared to major sports, the ticket prices for beach volleyball are quite cheap. 😀 😛

The very best seats (front row courtside), from which I retrieved an out-of-bounds ball several times, were only $25 for the whole day. 😀 😛

Unlike baseball, they don't let you keep the ball when you catch it in the stands. 😛

I go to six or seven baseball games a year there to see the Class A (minor league) Brooklyn Cyclones. This is the first time I've gone to see a beach volleyball event. 😀 😛

Apparently there was some sort of substitution thing where certain words were replaced by SHEMP this caused a major misunderstanding in a private conversation and apparently one of the parties who was somewhat new to the forum did not undertand and thought someone was making fun of them.

So if you are consoling someone about a loss in the family and your messages keep turning into SHEMP this or SHEMP that. You could see where it could cause problems.
