Yea I think so too. Last year was ok I think. I think interfering with people pms or private conversations is wrong though. Like I said they are private for a reason.
 
The real problem is that, if there are two people in a private conversation, neither of them may have even heard of Shemp Day. 🙁

Quite true. Something I think that seems to be lost on most of the people that were not adversely affected. Some people even thought the mods were messing with there pms and that is not an inmpression that we should be leaving with people.

hmmmmmmmm not sure if it was in chat room now. Might have been in Private messages in the main room. Stiil though I would think private messages should be left alone.
 
Yes, Private Messages should be kept private and not changed in any way.

I don't think private messages should be accessed by anyone other than the people involved. It's kinda messed up when we realized that the mods can read all our correspondence. I'm not sure I like that. It's not often, but sometimes I like to have private conversations.

Mods can not access the PM in the forum or in the chat. I am quite sure about the chat being a mod there 😛 I think the same is true for the main forum. This was a simple substituion code where if you typed certain words in a PM they were changed to SHEMP. No one read anyones messages. Its just unfortunate that the substitution in a few instances probably caused some misunderstandings.

Yes I think it did and the simple substitutions caused some confusion and in some instances some misunderstandings. 🙁
