I think it's the same with fiction sold as electronic downloads. After a while the sales stop as too many copies are out there being shared and copied. 🙁

Exactly. You can digitally watermark word files as well but its the same problem. No tracking. No one looks for the watermarks. Too easy to get around them. 🙁

Thats a good way to look at it. 🙂 I hope to have a longer shelf life for my stuff but I have a few ideas to protect things as best I can. 🙂

I don't worry about it with the work that MTJ Publishing puts out for me since they have the copyright assigned to them. I've just observed that sales fall off markedly after about 4 months.

MTJ is a great place. I could always do some tickling art. 😛 Not sure if I could earn a living off it though. 😛

Yea its too hard to earn a living off fetish art or stories. 🙁 Thats why I never really bothered I am focusing on a larger market that I can expand in a variety of ways as need be. 😀

Well I hope to branch out even more into comics, movie clips, windows themes, etc. Hopefully at some point I am well known enough people will hire me to illustrate books or design websites. 😀
