Not 100% sure what color the Antigrav will go yet 🙂

Yea that what I was thinking what color to paint it. I think some of those cool pearlescent acyrlics would be nice. Give it a kind of metallic luster to it. 🙂

😀 😛

Not sure if I am brave enough to spray those kinds of paints yet Metallic type paints can be hard to spray just right 😀 😛

They are difficult and expensive but they have a waaaaaaaaaaaaaay cool look. Especially those with lots of opalesence in them. Gives a really nice look to things. 😀

Those paints can get rather pricey. But if you have seen American Chopper or American Hot Rod you probably have seen some of those high flake paints and the neato effects they give. 😀

I have seen that show Been awhile though 😀 😛

Boyd Coddington passed away so American Hot Rod is not anymore. American Chopper has been moved all over the place so not sure what channel its on now. LOL

😀 😛

I forgot Boyd passed away 🙁 Testors model paints has(had) a Boyd brand of paints for model cars 😀 😛

$2.50 for the 1/2 ounce bottles of enamel -you can brush them or put them in an airbrush

$3.50 for the 3 ounce spray cans

😀 😛

Like everything else, paint is rising in price Thankfully,I have a good stash of paint 😀 😛

Dont they dry out though after awhile? Some places like DickBlick sell the pigments then you just by the base when you are ready and mix up your own. 🙂

I would imagine after a couple years they would dry out I haven't had any dry out yet Usually when they sit for awhile, the pigment and the base separate

When that happens, they just need shaken up awhile more I used to keep a BB in some paints They would help agitate the paint when shaken That's for enamel paint

Acrylic paint is better stirred 😀 😛

Sometimes I have to mix a few paints to get the right color or shade I need

Humbrol paints out of England has a huge selection of colors But for some reason, they don't have the British version on the olive drab the British Army used in W.W.2 WTF indeed

Then there are times when I want to fade a certain type of green So I will mix in some other type of paint to make it lighter The color buff works well for fading darker greens 😀 😛

Have you ever started though from the dry pigments themselves though? Thats where you have the most control. 😀 😀 😛

Online stores sell the dry pigments often. The advantage is you can make your own unique paint with as much glitter or pearlesence as you want.

(ok my friend.)

I do weather my vehicles with a dry, fine pigment You can mix different colors and shades for different effects 😀 😛
