My day was quite ordinary. I caught up on my laundry, some other household chores, and did some homework.
I'm about to take a shower with my rubber duckie.

I read that you are still trying to get your things back. You are a determined person, so I know you will retrieve them, but for comfort and piece of mind it would be nice if you had them now.

Until my friend Kurchiecakes is suffering with arthritis, I don't fully appreciate my body, and the little things I do each day without pain.
School is going well. I'm sure I'll need your help soon.

Yea I know that feeling. My old company I had 14 years so I got a month of vacation. Not easy to give stuff like that up to go someplace new.

Thats sad. 🙁 At least my company wised up a bit when all the PhD chemists starting to leave. So they offered more vacation to senior members and some stock options too.

Not a bad idea. 😀 Always start polite though with the higher ups. Often they dont know what going on and if you are reasonable they will listen. 🙂

Actually the Senior Vice President for my old company was a pretty reasonable guy. The Chief Scientific Officer was an ass but fortunatley I rarely had to deal with him. 😀

I think it's not right that companies have been slowly taking away benefits from workers. I feel sad for my Zoddy. I know you've had a tough week, but I promise you that you will get this straightened out. I hate change, and never feel good about it when it has to happen. When my schedule gets interrupted, or whatever, I feel displaced.
I don't know if you are like that....
