True. I always got a kick that none of Gore's 3 houses had solar panels but GW house actually has a several huge solar panels.

If it were not for double standards some people would not have any standads at all. 😉

New York I think is one of the worst. I think even if you travel to lets say Oregon and buy a coffee maker and take it back to New York you are required to declare it and pay New York State taxes on it.
