I am trying to figure out the best way to deal with things now. Does not seem to make sense to have a repair guy come in and pay him 200 to replace a CD drive that cost only 20 dollars.

Exactly. I figure perhaps when there are a few more problems to deal with I can get a repair person to fix all of them at once. Does not take long to replace parts once you got the computer open.
