Its looking more and more like I will have to replace both computers. 🙁 So all bailouts and bags of gold are welcome. 😛 I almost lost a third today as we had a major power outtage. Luckily my APC universal power supply kicked in and allowed me topower down safely. :rockon:

I hope Zoddy is safe. Last night when I left my house for school, it was 97 degrees. Forty minutes later when I got to school it was 68 degrees.
There was a giant thunder and lightning storm directly in the path ahead of me cooling everything down.
I could see the lightning bolts and hear the thunder! :omg:

I've been really busy with work this week. The store got some new equipment so I've been teaching my some of my coworkers how to use the new system. As tiring as the hours have been, I keep reminding myself that the money will be worth it. 😀

Yea I was very lucky. I think APC makes pretty good universal power supplies.

I hope he is safe too.

Yea we had a really bad storm back in 1985. (makes me sound old I know :grandpa: 😛 ) The lighting actually struck in the backyard and you could see the dirt fly. Very^9999999999999999999999999 scary.

I am hanging in there. 😀 Looks like I will need to buy two computers. I think the lowest I can get the price down to is about 7000 dollars. 😱 :yowzer:

So the lightning hit the dirt next to your house in 1985, and you remember it vividly? It must have made quite an impression.
When I was driving down the highway a tree was split, and part of it was hanging onto the highway. A policeman was there with his cruiser like it had just happened about 10 minutes before.
I've never actually been behind a storm, watching it play out ahead of me, and seeing the spots where lightning struck.
I gotta admit......I wanted a Kurchiecookie right then, and my flame-retardant jammies. :ghostie:

Thankfully I had a chance to learn how to use the new equipment before it was installed. My boss thought I would be the best to learn the new equipment then teach the rest of my coworkers because I'm young and a bit of a quick learner.

I'm not sure if I'll treat myself with the extra money. I'm becoming too money conscious to just spend it. I may just save the extra money that I'll have left over after I pay my bills.

Yea it was quite spectacular. The soil actually melted where the lightning hit making a very odd sort of rock. One of the reasons I remember it so well.
