Very cool. The volunteer fire dept.in the town I grew up had a 1918 fire truck. They would run it a few times a year. 😀 😛

Yea they were. The fire truck still had the old siren on it too which worked great and was quite loud. 😀

No there was a part of the engine drive shaft that came out to the front of the car and when you pulled a lever the siren pressed up against the rotating shaft and that caused the siren to make noise. 😀

Yes it was pretty cool. 😎 This siren was a bit too loud to use very often though. 😀 😛
