It was a puzzle. Last month, I ordered Shape magazine for $2.50/24 issues as part of a coupon promotion. I charged the amount to my credit card. I'm out the Kurchbucks, but no magazine. Perhaps I was the victim of an internet scam. It seemed too good to be true.

Did they say how long it will take to get the first issue? Years ago,when I subscribed to model mags,it would be 4-8 weeks before I got my first issue. Have you contacted them?

I ordered it on May 20. There is a phone number to contact the company that charged me. I got the offer through Livingsocial.com.
Hmmmm. I don't know how many weeks it was going to take. The receipt I have doesn't say. :cynical:

I can cancel the payment, but my greedy, thrifty side likes that magazine and really hopes it wasn't a trick. :cynical:

If you can,get ahold of the publisher and see what they say.

Hopefully it's not a scam.

I understand. Thats happened to me too. 🙁 Maybe as Zod said it can take as long as 2 months before these things get approved and started.
