There is a place that makes a super surge protector that supposedly keeps your stuff safe even from a direct lighting strike. Those units are too expensive and big for me though. 🙂I've never seen a super surge protector, just the usual small ones. 😀 😛
Aha, now I think I understand why they are expensive.
One of my cousins got his computer fried by a lightening strike, but that was a long time ago (in the last century, actually). 😱

It was an old Apple desktop, worthless by today's standards, but cost about $1K to replace at the time.
