Well the point I was making is self employed people actually tend to work more hours then people who work for someone else. Its a lot harder trying to start a business.

Yes very hard. You are totally responsible for meeting all the government requirements and regulations. If you mess up the government (federal, state, or local) comes after you, Not to mention people who are just suit happy, or are constantly trying to stiff you. Its not easy. Especially in this economy. 🙁
