Yea. There is still gold there its just too expensive to pull out at this point. I suppose if gold goes up to 2000 dollars and ounce then maybe it could be an active mine again LOL

Very true. As I understand it, you have to dig up tons of rock to extract just an ounce of gold from it. 😱

Yea for the most part that is indeed true. Although my friend did find a huge lump of pure gold lying down there in the mine but that was the only easy gold. 🙂
