This Girls und Panzer is pretty new. Hopefully it will be on DVD soon. It is out there. They fight other girls in tanks. When the tanks get hit,they don't explode. They just come to a halt,and a disabled flag pops up.

The tanks in the show are all W.W.2 . Whomever used CGI to make up the tanks payed very close attention to detail. They look like the real things.
