I hope your trees are alright after another cold night.

They are hanging in there but we are facing another cold night tonight plus high winds so I may not be able to use the candles. 🙁 Plus its not likely to be even close to being warm till Saturday. 🙁 Plus I almost lost a few plants to idiots shooting off fireworks in the alley. The flaming debris almost hit a few widdle baby trees. Its a good thing it didnt cause I know the neighbor who does it and I likely would have beaten the crap out of him. It just shocks at the wanton disregard of common decency most people have these days. I suppose I shouldnt be surprised most of these idiots thought another 4 years of Obama would be a good thing.

Yea I would think that would be a good thing. I remember my grandma would always go out and put some coffee grounds or egg shells for the plants she thought needed it and then she would pet them a little. 🙂

She was a great gardener. In Hollywood where she was at they have a high clay content soil. Stuff is like concrete. Very hard to grow stuff in. She never had any problems. 🙂

I am using the coffee grounds now in my compost heap I am hoping it will help with the mold problem I had with some of my widdle baby trees. 😀
