I was told by my home terminal,no break down pay because I was in and out of medical places. So I thought workman's comp would be paying me lost wages. No luck there because the medical portion was only three days. I left a voice mail message for my point of contact at my home terminal saying what workman's comp told me,and how I will get no pay for an exhaust leak coming into the cab,and being off for seven days,and told her I hope her day is better than mine.

If they are fair, then workman's compensation should pay you for the lost days. You didn't go out and breather carbon monoxide on purpose; it was clearly a workplace accident, the place being your truck.Thanks my friend.

From what I am told,with workman's comp.you have to be off from work for a minimum of seven days per a doctor. I went to hospital on a Wed. night. Sat. morning,a doctor said OK to go back to work. But on a Monday is when I had to get a new DOT physical,per my company.
