The population of Las Vegas in 1950 was 35,000, compared to 3,000,000 today. I wonder, how many of the 3 million would stay if there were no air conditioning?

Probably not many. Same for Arizona which really bakes.
 
Dry heat in the dessert near Phoenix, and they also have flash flooding that can sweep away your car and drown you. 😱

Yea I knew some one from Arizona. The heat was brutal he said. Always need to keep several gallons of water in you car in case you get stranded. The heat can kill your car leaving you stranded.

Strangely enough, in spite of that, the population of the Arizona desert area keeps growing. 😓
 
Strange Kurch is having a nicer summer than we are Mils.
 
July was fairly brutal here. ☀️ 😓 We shall see how August turns out.
 
Dropped to 59 here locally this morning. Can't remember the last time it was below 60.
 
August 1st was the anniversary of the day that I moved in to this apartment.
