I love John Wayne, but he made some real stinkers.

The Conqueror. Can you picture the Duke as Genghis Khan? I think not.

Jet Pilot. If you have never heard of this disaster, consider yourself lucky. I place much of the blame for this on Howard Hughes, who owned RKO at the time, but still..Wayne should have known better.

Plan 9 from Outer Space. A campy classic I admit, and Edward Woodward had a good run churning out this kind of schlock.

I saw AWAYDAYS recently, the new football hooligan film set in Liverpool. The acting was great, but I can sum the plot up in two words: confusing and shit.

The worst movies of my viewing generation?

(Yes, I'm about to say it...)

Avatar. I could give you a thesis as to why it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

As for just plain-old terrible movies, Buttcrack was a really awful film, and so are plenty of old kung fu movies (The Man with Secret Kung-fu, Invincible Armor) and horro movies. Yet, I usually appreciate their shittiness. It takes big-scale movies that suck complete ass despite their awesome amounts of hype (reference what I said above) to become what I consider the worst movies of all time. Why? Because why would you ever put that much money into making a pile of shit?

Someone's bound to say it at some point anyway: Jaws the Revenge.

I'd take "Plan 9 From Outer Space" anyday over.....

The Matrix 2
Austin Powers-The Spy Who Shagged Me
Meet the Spartans
A.I.
The Phantom Menace
Caddyshack 2
The Coneheads

I'm sure there's more I can think of.

Dreamcatcher. Stephen King was my favourite author from the age of 12, but you know he's running out of ideas when he's writing about people who shit aliens.

Some of the worst movies I've seen are:

Moonlight Mile- wonderful cast, including Susan Sarandon, Dustin Hoffman, and Ellen Pompeo. Depressing, terrible movie.

Leaving Las Vegas. Another great cast, another awful movie, about a guy, Nicolas Cage, whose purpose was to go to Las Vegas, to die. I saw this film in 1998, on my 28th birthday. It was not a birthday to remember, lol.

Men Who Stare At Goats- Stellar cast, including Jeff Bridges, and Kevin Spacey. Staring At Goats For an hour and 45 minutes? Give me a break!

Heaven's Gate- I was 10 when I saw this bomb. Directed by my father's client at the time of 20 years, Michael Cimino, right after he won five Academy Awards for his previous movie, The Deer Hunter. Heaven's Gate was long, disjointed, and downright awful. The critics hated it. My mom told me that after we came out from seeing it, I said to Michael "Mr Cimino, the movie was very pretty, but it was way too long". In fact, the original Heaven's Gate was three and half to four hours, I believe, before he cut it down to two hours, and re released it, and the critics still hated it.

I'm sure I can think of others, but, off the top of my head, those are the worst bombs I've ever seen.

Snakes on a Plane. Anaconda was pretty atrocious, too. What is it with snake movies being really bad?

Total Recall. Personally I think it would have been better if at the end the whole thing turned out to be exactly what he'd paid for. It would have made more sense. Just my opinion.

Napoleon Dynamite
The Village
Signs
Final Destination
Catwoman
Larger Than Life
House Arrest
Lady in the Water
The Happening

Snail Shell

Passion of the Christ. Even as an atheist, I can see that Mel Gibson missed the fucking point.

I loooooooooooved Moonlight Mile...

Also, there was like one scene involving staring of goats in The Men Who Stare At Goats... so either you didn't watch the movie, or you were being facetious and I completely missed it 😛

Anywhoooo, some of the worst movies I've ever watched:

From Justin to Kelly
Spice World
You Got Served
Disaster Zone: Volcano in New York

And although not "bad" in the same manner as the movies listed above, but I really really hated The Girl Next Door. I at least got enjoyment out of the other movies.

poopies, I did watch Men Who Stare At Goats. I was being sarcastic. I just didnt like the movie is all.

Burn after reading.
Rat Race.
In The Name of The King.

Seriously. Each one of these movies had a star-studded list of A rate actors, and yet each one of them was an incredible peace of shit (Some might argue the first one with me, but you have to give me the second two).

Steetfighter: Legend of Chun Li

Any Michael Bay movie after 'Armageddon' (which wasn't very good either)

Anything by Uwe Boll

SO many more...

To be considered for worst movie of all time, I believe that a film needs to either have a well known cast of stars or a big budget or both. After all, you can't blame a low budget film with unknowns for being bad.

My nominee is: Ishtar (1987)

Bad script, bad acting, bad directing, boring, pointless, and stupid.
