I was just reading the true stories here on the TMF, and I realized that we ticklers have it easy compared to other fetishes.

I've always been able to tickle friends, co-workers, dates, teachers (awesome), and others without heavy repercussions. And it also seems like there are many people here who have some amazing stories of their own.

I think initially it takes some balls (read alcohol 🙂)to just sneak in a tickle or start a tickle talk. But after doing it for a while, it seems easy to get my tickle fix.

Perhaps it is not as mainstream as, say, a foot fetish, where people know that it actually exists and might think that you're weird if you're talking about feet all the time; a tickle fetish is (in my opinion) underground, so talking about it or quickly tickling a girl's feet doesn't appear to be too strange.

What do you think? Is it easy to satisfy your tickle cravings? Or it seem like you are judged for engaging in tickle activities?

PS. There are some great stories out there. I need to check that part of the site more often.

Not many of my friends know im into tickling or kinky foreplaying and bondage lol. Maybe I dont look like the type of girl who would be into it. I mean if I get tickled i'll laugh but they dont know i'm really enjoying it. Im sure i'll eventually meet people who are into it and can give me some good tickles lol. If friends do know about it im sure on some level its not easy though lol

I can understand that. I kind of blew my cover as soon as I started my website though. LOL! In all honesty, I still haven't had any of my friends, male or female, stop talking to me (or at least, they don't ridicule me to my face lol) because of it. I think that we play it up in our minds way too much when it really is only as big of a deal as we make it. Just my opinion, of course. 🙂

I guess it is easier than some others, yeah. I mean there are some crazy fetishes out there. Im not slagging them off or anything but i am extremely glad to have this BRILLIANT fetish. Definitely one of the best, if not THE best. Im not biased.......

Personally I think it is not right to use unsuspecting people to get "the tickle fix".

I also don't think it's hard to have a tickling fetish either though. People I talk to about sex I also tell about my fetish, and I never had anybody point and laugh or look at me like I was crazy. There are things about me that are way more crazy than that! 🙂

Having a tickling fetish is not something you can turn on/off at will, like a light switch. Either you have it, or you don't.

I think it's the best thing that ever happened to me. I can indulge my fetish with friends, cousins, neices, etc. Doesn't matter if their married or single. 😉

I don't think the tickling is too much of a problem.

Iam into bondage and any mention of bdsm and people tend to think its all whips and chains and red hot irons and of course its about control and submission.

Also being bi is another area wher i use caution in public in a real life situation.

Tickling isn't hard to live with in my book to be honest.

This, although I did have ONE ex who thought it was weird a creepy. I was SO happy I was hoest about it with her... :peace:

Well it's easy for me because people generally see me as majorly innocent (bahaha WRONG) and not the type of person to have a fetish at all. I don't think it's hard to live with.

Yeah, honestly, being bi is a lot harder to live with than a tickling fetish, for me at least. Being bi is a lot harder to hide for one thing. But even that isn't tooo hard for me because again, people see me as innocent and therefore don't even consider the possibility.

Tickle-ist: I'm reminded of the lyrics to "It Isn't Easy Being Green."

TickleMeP1nk: I'll be glad to TickleYouP1nk.

I'll reference TickleMeP1nK and AmericaRocks, acknowledge that they're both obviously gorgeous, and repeat my usual refrain in these matters:

It depends how hot you are.

If you're a women, and is hot, even easier!

If you're a woman, and hot, or even okay, and are wearing nylons, since the number one sexy item in a poll years ago were High heels, and the second place winner was stockings/pantyhose......even, even easierest!

Unless you're speaking to a guy who is a complete closeminded asshole, or religious prude..... I wouldn't worry one bit ladies! And honestly, who gives a shit what that asshole thinks of you.....Fucking Asshole!!

And then you can of course add personality and kindness factors - if you're a bitch, people may be less tolerant of any perceived flaw in you, yet if you're fun loving, kind, and bring a smile to everyone's face, you can brag that you have a tickle fetish, and people will think that makes you even hotter!

And if you did this while wearing suntan colored sheer toe pantyhose, with your shoes off, the acceptance would come even easier. You'd probably also get an immediate tickle if you're with friends!

Hell, try it! Ladies, go to your local bookstore, Barnes and Nobles or somewhere, in a nice outfit and nylons. Pick an aisle, take your shoes off and walk around. I bet all kinds of guys will be like "Uhhh, I think I need to look down this aisle for a book honey!"
And their girlfriends, in sloppy street clothes and no nylons, will be like, "You don't even know how to cook!" The guys will be like, "Well, never too late to learn!"

I know a guy who has a red head fetish. I know this because he brags about it.
He's also very cool, very welcoming of new people, and out spoken, not shy at all.
Does charity work......I was with him at a charity event a few months ago, and he was bragging on a red headed doll that was on auction, to the people in charge!

With guys it is harder. You have to be either good looking, very likable, and/or preferably both.

But in all cases, even for the ugly people out there, folks will get over it pretty quickly. It's not like you'll be shunned from society 39 years later, wandering the streets as a homless beggar......unless you were a REALLYY BIGGGG asshole!

Apology accepted. So what's wrong with what I said?

If tickling is sexual for you and you tickle unsuspecting people, that is a pretty fucked up thing to do! If it is just fun and games to you, I didn't say anything. But if it is just fun and games, perhaps you shouldn't refer to it as a fetish. 🙂

Eh, it's not as easy for girls as one might think. I was really surprised that you referred to me as obviously gorgeous (especially along with another girl who IS gorgeous) because typically, people don't seem to consider me very attractive. I mean, I like how I look, but I've met as many people who found me hideous as people who found me attractive. I definitely feel like most guys would be creeped out upon learning about my fetish. But I wouldn't know because no guys outside of the TMF know, and I plan to keep it that way.

And that would have to be different for girls exactly how? 🙂

@ AmericaRocks - Sure, beauty is subjective, and only a few are lucky enough to be considered "gorgeous" by like 90+% of the general public. However I strongly doubt that most guys interested in you would be creeped out learning about your fetish. I suspect that better reflects how you feel personally, than how most men view fetishes. Of course I don't know you, but many of us here are biased by fear of being labeled weird -- myself totally included. It took me years to tell my first girlfriend, and has been hard with every one since. No one else (non-girlfriends) knows at all. And unfortunately my experiences have proved me right to be cautious. The reactions I've received have ranged from highly negative (shock/dislike) to neutral. None had ever heard of someone who liked tickling in a sexual way, or of bondage and tickling. A few let me try occasionally, but hated it. Only one girl, ever, gave me a positive initial response.

To continue, but also looping in @ Rhiannon - Most guys aren't into tickling naturally, of course. We know it's a niche thing. But most guys DO love learning what turns a girl on. What exactly is different for guys than girls?
(1) Guys tend to be MUCH more fixated on sex in general and how to get their girl excited.
(2) Most girls won't admit to having any special turn-ons, so learning of any at all is usually hot for us.
(3) Most guys are simply much less easily creeped out than girls. We watch and think about all kinds of things. Women seem to do both much much less, and to be much more easily shocked and put off.
(4) Girls in general tickle and giggle WAY more than guys. It is quite cute, girly, and socially acceptable, much easier for girls to work in than for us. It is NOT manly, with the sole exception that tickling a cutie occasionally is common flirty behavior - sort of mild dominance.

Just my two cents. 🙂 I guess the bottom line is that I agree with the OP, and think tickling is an easier fetish to have than many in general, and VERY easy for girls as compared to guys.

I look at it as "fun and games" with benefits. When I tickle or get tickled by friends, inlaws, etc., I might or might not get a thrill from it, depending on the person and the situation. If I do get a thrill, even a sexual one, that's my business and mine alone. I don't feel I'm under any obligation to put a stop to it, and in many cases I'll do what I can to prolong the situation without raising suspicion.

If you think that's fucked up, you just go right ahead and think that. In the meantime, I'll enjoy the tickling. 🙂

It's not a weird fetish to begin with. Tickling is one of, if not the most, commonly used methods of flirting when you are first getting to know someone you are dating.

Talking personally, I am having hard time to handle my fetish sometimes 🙂 As foot lover and tickle lover sometimes you just get into weird situation where you gotta choose between tickle someone and take the risk to get recognized as tickle feticist (or foot feticist that is easier), or let it go and bite your hands for a lost opportunity 😛

Only one of my friends knows my passion, and she is cool with that, even if she put me in the worst position ever....she shows me what i like but for some sort of respect, i do not take advantage of it (don't know if she would get pissed or not, maybe she is just teasing me as all girls usually do when they know that they can have fun with a man....or maybe she just wanna let me do it LOL).

Usually since i go for the feet, I get the foot guy label before the tickle lover label; somehow seems that having a foot fetish is not that bad compared to many other fetishes thou; many accept it (not agree to be tickled or say that is normal....more or less like when you tell someone that you are gay...you get people that says "ok, whatever float your boat", but nothing more); and seems that for people that has a generic tickle fetish is easier, compared to who has a specific tickle fetish (to me tickling unless is done on underarms or feet has very little interest, in the same way many others has their specific place to tickle).

When i try to tickle i go for the feet, so is kinda putting the gals in a sort of embarrassment; compared to going for the ribs or sides....that's why usually if i get to the point where i am able to hit the feet and tickle, doesn't take too long for the gal to ask me (either verbally or with other means) if i am a foot guy, but just one asked me if i had a tickling fetish (the gal was not ticklish at all, but knew the tickling fetish because of her ex boyfriend); actually she was the most easy to talk with about it, but in general is kinda awkward to mention it 😛

Could be worst thou....thank lord i am not one that goes to sniff feet or shoes or underwear, or loves people in diapers and such (respect for who likes it of course, no offense); since i can live my fantasies and enjoy my tickling fetish in an almost discrete way 🙂

we are still at the point where if you say that you like women with big boobs is fine (is a fetish right?) but you are perv if you like tickling....mentality i guess that will change with years 😉

I've never met a gal that loves to be tickled and is ticklish (by loving it i mean turned on); some loved to have their feet pampered and licked, but in general they were not ticklish.

4 of my gf had the pleasure to know my fetish; the reactions were not that bad:

1) she is ticklish, she allowed me to tickle her briefly, but she never got the whole idea

2) she is very ticklish, she never allowed me to tickle her because she cannot take it at all, and she was thinking that i had a foot fetish but was too embarrassed to admit it so i made up the tickling fetish

3) ticklish but not interested; it didn't lasted long and was pretty rough when i told her

4) not ticklish and fine with it, if it does not go too overboard (like roleplaying and such)

In general other than to my gf, nobody heard about my fetish, and when i try to mention it people gets weird; so i just avoid 🙂

That might be true, but how does a girl not have to be good looking or very nice to come into that kind of pleasure? 🙂

If I do get a thrill, even a sexual one, that's my business and mine alone.

Look at it from another side of view: Imagine there is this pedophile running around tickling children to get a thrill, even a sexual one, out of it....would you still say it's his business and his alone? It's not like he would be doing anything else than you are now, would he? There would be no harm to anyone...
