what percentage of random women do you think would be too ticklish for a pedicure? so much that they won't even go?

what % do you think are really ticklish, go anyway, but just laugh all the way through it?

and What % do you think aren't effected by it at all whether they go or not, they wouldn't laugh?

just curious

Pedicures are sooo relaxing..and so expensive at times, that I can't afford to get one as much as I would like to..My feet are sensitive, especially when they use the Pumice stone..I have to bit my lip to keep from trying to pull my foot away, And the also lotion my feet for me, and sometimes use their nails..It gets hard, But for a half an hour of pampering?? I'll suck it up.. 😀 😀

LoL I've had pedicures before and I'm a dude. 😛 It can tickle like crazy, but you suck it up.

What's messed up is I swear they WANT to tickle you sometimes. ;-; Do they have to use their nails so much? lol Oh, and before you ask, I was in Qatar on R&R from Mosul for a week, I deserved some pampering. 😛

Hmm, I have no idea. But I'd love to perform the test on a random sampling of lovely ladies and then report the results to the forum. Something tells me that ain't happenin' though. lol

This is what I've found from the hundreds of women I've given pedis to.
I'd say 10% are too ticklish, but I can use a pressure point to help them
40% are ticklish, and laugh and giggle the whole way through and the other 50% are generally uneffected.

I may have posted this before in another format, but, one time, I was discussing this with the girl who used to cut my hair, and she told me that her now 26 year old daughter was too ticklish for a pedicure, and would absolutely not let anyone touch her feet, and that if the daughter did want a pedicure, she would do it herself.

My guess is that it might be 50%, 25%, and 25% I'd say that 25% of the girls might be unaffected by a pedicure, while the other 50% go and sit through it, even if it tickles, and that 25% are too ticklish for pedicures, and either have to do it themselves, or dont bother.

From what I've heard, pedicures can be like massages. A firm hand while doing the pedicure can lessen the ticklish feeling, just the way a firm massage hand would for other parts of the body. However, a light feathery hand touch, must drive a girl with very ticklish feet crazy!

I gotta say as one who does this for a living, I know first hand the percentage of who is too ticklish and who isn't, but I could always be wrong. I do as a practice administer a firm touch massage, but noone can fool me in the exfolliating process. Thats the dead give away.

Well, to my amazement I've found the great majority of women getting pedicures not ticklish. The ticklish ones who get pedicures frequently know what to expect, usually warn me in advance and laugh and giggle though most of the proceedure, some even want me to intentionally tickle their feet for kicks. The small minority that are quote " too ticklish " I help through and take my time using a pressure point between the cuboid and navicular bone in the foot, but they still sometimes sqirm and giggle. As for the ones who generally hate having their feet touched, thats anyones guess because I never see them, but they will in time end up in a pedicure chair, somewhere, for having neglected their feet for too long.

I can't tell ya.. I have only had a partial one done.. it tickled so much.. I have not had one since...but then again. with the nerve damage I am super nuclear hyper.. so not gonna pay for someone to torture me. I do my own..

Yes, then you belong to the too ticklish crowd. If you ever get tired of doing them yourself, stay out of the malls and go to an affordable but upscale salon or spa and find someone who understands your problem and can take the time to make it ticklish but enjoyable.

Oh god, I always laugh during pedicures and then when the lady says, "Tickle?" I laugh even harder because it's what I do for a living. 🙂
I would never stop going though just becuase it's ticklish. Then again, I like being tickled.

Oh, yes! They know EXACTLY what they're doing! They all smile and giggle when I walk into the salon, knowing I'll be a quivering wreck halfway through, and won't notice a few stray nail strokes here and there. I do notice, of course, but don't have the heart to tell them! 😀 :tickle:

i went to get my nails done the other day and i wanted a pedi sooo bad but im too scared/embarassed lol. im thinking one day i should just suck it up but idk lol

Oh please ! I challenge you to find any stray nail strokes in MY work. I've never tickled anyone to hide mistakes...at least not yet :blaugh:

Perhaps I didn't state it as I meant it. I meant nails stroking my soles. seemingly inadvertant, but surely intentional! My bad! :feets::tickle:

I'm sorry Januarygirl, I thought you were slamming all us hardworking pedicurist, but it is true that sometimes I'll sneak some tickles in with my nails or the edge of my foot file, just as a test.

Volunteers self to Crystal, Dimple, and the bunch for a pedicure at no charge; I'm willing to sacrifice myself so you can find out if you want unlimted pedicures in the future :devil2:

I think its funny that you think the people who give pedicures actually are trying to tickle the person.

I have always had a theory about people who work in specialized fields like that, at least when the field deals with a body part like feet. My girlfriend has no idea why her feet excite me. She gets pedicures twice a week and even is a licensed reflexologist. I have known her for years and I remember she would never go barefoot, never wear any kind of open toed shoe or sandal, flip flop etc.. She also would be a bit shy about letting me see her feet bare. That was years ago, now she wears cute flip flops and has so many feet related activities that i had to question her as to if she actually had some kind of foot interest? She swears she has no interest in feet at all, and that the fact she now has cute painted toes and wears tottaly cute flips and gets foot massages and pedicures twice a week and is licensed in foot reflexology means nothing.

Im having a hard time believing that lol! anyway, I asked her if at any time in her lengthy history of having pedicures, reflexology sessions or foot massages, if anyone giving those services to her had at any point actually tried to tickle her feet and make her laugh? She answered " NO."

Now i have asked that same question to hundreds of people, most who have no foot obsession and almost all of them have had at least one memory of an experiance where the pedicurist, podiatrist or foot reflexologist had engaged in activity they would describe as trying very hard to tickle there foot. Either wiggling thier fingertip up and down thier sole while watching thier face for ticklish reactions, or actually even asking them if they have ticklish feet as they are stroking a part of thier foot that would commonly get a very ticklish reaction.

Now im sure that even if they were actually trying to tickle the persons foot, it would be no big deal, I mean why not have a little fun while at work. Im sure most who work in those fields would deny it out of fear of being exposed as a fetishist, but I still am curious as to the answer to the question, do people who like feet, pursue careers in those types of fields?

I know this response is a tad off the subject, just was curious when i read this response.

The answer to your question is a BOLD YES. People who like feet and are fetishist pursue these types of fields. I'm one of them ! You have to like that part of the human anatomy to do these type of jobs, if you don't life will be miserable. I can't start to tell you the horror stories I've seen concerning peoples foot disoders and uncared for feet. It can make you sick !
I do, however, have many clients with very beautiful feet that make my job a dream, but as a proffessional pedicurist I look at each person in a total clinical manner and no tickling, unless they want it or in very rare cases I need to test their sensitivity before a proceedure. In short , I pursue my fetishes outside of work and I never let anyone in public know about them.

I personally get pedicures on a regular basis, the ladies know my feet are sensative and are really good about apply the proper pressure, the only part they cannot get away with is the shaving or pumice stone, I just sit there and do my best to hold it in. They giggle a little but they are very professional.

Yes, I think it's a stupid question.
As stupid as asking if your gynaecologist tried to lick your pussy.

Sorry for my bad english.

Wow!

Thanks for the response. 2 Questions if I may? You said that sometimes the person wants to be tickled? any examples? and you speak of a test that you apply in order to see if they are ticklish before you begin. What is the test?

I clearly am...

I'm wayyyy to ticklish for peds, but i get them. What choice would I have? I walk barefoot too much (tho cream my feet) and need to keep my feet soft and attractive.

Yes, i giggle during peds but its a necessity 😉
