Interesting....
LoL I've had pedicures before and I'm a dude. 😛 It can tickle like crazy, but you suck it up.
What's messed up is I swear they WANT to tickle you sometimes. ;-; Do they have to use their nails so much? lol Oh, and before you ask, I was in Qatar on R&R from Mosul for a week, I deserved some pampering. 😛
I think its funny that you think the people who give pedicures actually are trying to tickle the person.
I have always had a theory about people who work in specialized fields like that, at least when the field deals with a body part like feet. My girlfriend has no idea why her feet excite me. She gets pedicures twice a week and even is a licensed reflexologist. I have known her for years and I remember she would never go barefoot, never wear any kind of open toed shoe or sandal, flip flop etc.. She also would be a bit shy about letting me see her feet bare. That was years ago, now she wears cute flip flops and has so many feet related activities that i had to question her as to if she actually had some kind of foot interest? She swears she has no interest in feet at all, and that the fact she now has cute painted toes and wears tottaly cute flips and gets foot massages and pedicures twice a week and is licensed in foot reflexology means nothing.
Im having a hard time believing that lol! anyway, I asked her if at any time in her lengthy history of having pedicures, reflexology sessions or foot massages, if anyone giving those services to her had at any point actually tried to tickle her feet and make her laugh? She answered " NO."
Now i have asked that same question to hundreds of people, most who have no foot obsession and almost all of them have had at least one memory of an experiance where the pedicurist, podiatrist or foot reflexologist had engaged in activity they would describe as trying very hard to tickle there foot. Either wiggling thier fingertip up and down thier sole while watching thier face for ticklish reactions, or actually even asking them if they have ticklish feet as they are stroking a part of thier foot that would commonly get a very ticklish reaction.
Now im sure that even if they were actually trying to tickle the persons foot, it would be no big deal, I mean why not have a little fun while at work. Im sure most who work in those fields would deny it out of fear of being exposed as a fetishist, but I still am curious as to the answer to the question, do people who like feet, pursue careers in those types of fields?
I know this response is a tad off the subject, just was curious when i read this response.
