In the same way that most news outlets waited a while before confirming the death of Michael Jackson (even though it was known much earlier) I think we should wait a while before condemning this man for what might be a true story.

Sure, we all believe it is false, but we don't know it is false.

And if I received this sort of response from my community after relaying details of an assault that took place on me, I wouldn't want to come back either.

Some people suggested locking this thread.

I would suggest people not mocking the OP throughout the thread. It's juvenile and leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

We're mocking him to be kind - this is impossible.
I forgot to add some equations to my math:
-How many people actually go to a city park, plus, how many city parks are in that city? So he happened to be at THAT specific city park, on THAT specific bench. The park closest to me is the busiest in several cities...and it only has about 100 people...on the weekend. My home town park has maybe 50 people on any given weekend.
-Viper, for example, is one of the more recognizable folks here, since he shows his face in his videos and we hear his voice, and he posts clear pictures of himself. If I ever meet him, and we are in a room talking to each other's face, it would honestly be 10 to 20 minutes before I'd even realize who he was.

This "assaulter" recognized a TMF'er across a park full of people.

Even more unlikely than zero percent.

This story puts fear in people's hearts. People here wish and hope for acceptance and normalcy with their fetish. Everyone secretly wishes they could be totally open about who they are, but until then, many hide their faces for fear of being recognized.
Now, I've already said, mathematically it's damn near impossible to be recognized even if you post a professional quality picture of yourself, because someone you know, would have to stumble upon this place out of the billions of websites, ....then search EVERY thread until they stumbled upon your picture...and there are thousands of threads here.
They'd almost have to have a tickle fetish to find you, and even then it's tough. But, it's kind of possible.

This guy's story makes people fear an actual physical attack, not just embarassment. Everyone fears being "discovered" and having to face public humiliation at their workplace or in friendship and family circles.
In reality, unless you were surrounded by mean, judgemental hateful prudes, most folks would get over it.....but still. I'm sure, even subconciously, people are afraid of getting outed because they post a picture here, and get their ass kicked.

That's even more unlikely than just being a little embarassed for a few days....but then this appears, and it gives life to deep seated fears most here face. So yeah, this deserves, at the least, ridicule, and properly, condemnation and skepticism.

Look, I want to clear a few things up. First off, he said he was banned. And I don't know if he was telling the truth, so don't start attacking me for that. Maybe he was banned, maybe he wasn't, all I know is that I got attacked. And I'm pissed that others think this is b.s. and ridiculous. Allow me to include a few details I left out:

I know this guy very loosely. As in I've seen him before when he wanted to date my neighbor's daughter a couple years back. He also wanted to have a tickle session with her, but he was more into it for the simple pleasure of torture and not for fun. He didn't like me for the simple fact that this girl was friends with me and more open about her ticklishness with me than she was with him. Hell she hated him. And he made it known verbally on several occasions that he'd love to kick my ass. BUT since I could never prove he actually said it the police around here did nothing about it.

AND look up the account name Super777, that was an old account of mine which he stole from me. He stole my laptop I used for school work and got that information(along with OTHER information that nobody else should know). He changed my password so I couldn't use it and even changed the e-mail associated with he account. He even began an argument with a member called Brighteyes over what constituted a "tickle meet". By the time I had finally managed to get him to give back the info, the Super777 account had been banned(which is why he gave it back I suppose). I remained off this forum for a few years until in June of 2008 I made this account and returned to the forum. I felt that maybe by then the situation had blown over.

I really don't know what else you guys want, a blood sacrifice? This is all the proof I can provide you with.

Jesus man, that sucks.

You probably should have given us a few more details about the situation. Like, that this is a guy you know and who knows you from outside TMF. Otherwise it doesn't sound believable. It's like if I said I just met a girl on the street who told me she had a tickle fetish and she wanted me to tie her up and tickle her. And I didn't mention that this is someone I've known for years. You know? People call bullshit on that.

Call the cops on the guy, plain and simple.

As the mods have stated...provide a police report so thatthey can then work towards a resolution..

However, if you know this guy then you could easily make them aware of who he is...

This guy is at most, an aquiantance to me. He's been like a neighborhood bully(and has never grown up. He's had police trouble recently that involved a minor theft). I don't know his real name nor do I care to.

You could scan in a copy of the police report with the indentifying details removed.

Ok, this could have happened. And I feel bad if it did. Lots of people on here lead secret lives and are not neccissarily telling US the truth when they deal with us.

But you said you didn't know the guy. Now you do know him.

And this story should have been sent to a mod or an admin so they COULD take it seriously (as they thankfully are. Good for them; there are good folks behind the scenes here).

But instead it got posted on the wider forum. Which doesn't really do any good in catching anyone... and there are skeptics here.

Yeah and if I had known this was the reception I'd get I would not have posted it. I guess maybe I wanted to share something that, even though it seems impossible, did happen to one of us. And the reason I said I didn't know him was anytime in my life that shit like this happens and I know the "criminal" I usually get bitched out for doing nothing about it. And that really gets on my nerves.

Now you're stating that you KNOW him? I may be dense or something. But, the two statements don't seem to mesh...even if you only knew him as an acquaintence. And that's just one of the things that don't make sense to me.

There's also the possibility that you could simply ask the neighbor's daughter for a name.

Like I said, anytime I know the "criminal" and let people know that, I always get bitched at for not doing something sooner. Even if they was nothing I could have done. And honestly if I can't trust friends and family to back me, why should I expect the same from people I don't really know? I appreciate Myriads offering his help and those that sympathize, but for the most part for me it's best I claim to not know the individual.
 
You have to understand where we're coming from. You initially give us the impression that you don't know the guy, and now all of a sudden, you do. If this really happened, I do hope you get justice. If not, then shame on you for lying to us.
 
and the screen name you gave us that was "stolen seems to have vanished from the boards.....most that have been banned here can still be found...

IF this is true, then I do sympathize...as I'm sure others who've questioned you would. It's simply that you've presented much more to make us doubt it than to lead us to believe. As for being best that you claim to not know him, I'd be careful if you reported it to the police and withheld information. You could find yourself facing legal difficulties yourself.

I know and I did not withhold any info from them. I told them that I knew him as an aquiantance.

I have to agree with Ann here. IF what happened to you was/is true, the changes you made to be vague for whatever reason has simply made the event too different to be understood as real or for you to be able to possibly replicate it properly.

If this event did happen you should have been more specific from the get-go and explained it like this:

Now this guy I believe is in to tickling also, he has been on the forum at some point and even before had stolen my laptop to create some havoc for me on this forum. Well today I saw him at the park and he calls me out, remembering what I look like from some pictures I had on the forum. It was a bad experience and I was wondering if anyone has had an experience like this.

That sounds like an accurate, probable event. Nothing to have to back away from, change or anything.

When things happen, do not worry about what people think about you not fighting back or anything like that. Just tell what happened without changing or omitting things important to the event. When you do, people call bullshit and you end up looking worse in the end.

I don't know if your event is true or not, but either way I am certain you should have worded it differently.

If he's been involved with the police before then he'll get caught. You had pictures taken of your injuries, correct? You could scan those in, too, & post them here, along with the police report.

Meanwhile, Skipideedoo just posted a thread about people telling stories that are too heard to belive, true or not. Read that thread and maybe you will understand.
