No matter what kind of issues you have in your own lives, you have taken the time to share good wishes, love and support with Tracy and I, and we just wanted to say thank you. We feel blessed to have you as friends and blessed that this community exists.
Last week we had to have our son admitted to a children's psych unit for behavioral issues he had in school due to his Asperger's Syndrome (Autism Spectrum Disorder). It was the most difficult decision we ever had to make as parents, and we were as low and depressed as we could ever be.
You all jumped in and made us feel loved, sent us good wishes, and showed us just how much we all need our friends to help us through the tough times.
Many folks who we have not even met yet have made us feel loved with pms and messages of hope.
We love you all and pray that anyone dealing with life's traumas will feel free to contact us at any time, if only to vent a bit and have someone to listen. We would be honored to do so.
This past week has been very hard on us, and without you we never would have gotten through.....
So now for the good news...
His evaluation has gone well and the treatment and stay in the unit have put him back on track so nicely that he is coming home tonight. In an hour I get to go pick him up and bring him back home to family and friends....
So thank you again for your support, love, good wishes, and for helping us keep a positive attitude through all of this...

I'm so happy for you guys that things are turning around. When you go get your son, smother him with lots of hugs and kisses.
