To Tie? or Not to Tie? Hmm that IS a question.

There are personal preferences for everything and tickling is no different in my opinion. Some people who are into tickling are also into the bondage scene as well. To me, these go hand in hand, or cuff as the case may be hehe If only I had my own dungeon...

To me, there's nothing better than tying someone up (who asks for it!) and then saying "now I'm gonna tickle the crap out of you."

The Evil Me comes scampering out of the closet with a wicked grin on it's face...

I'd love to hear opinions on the subject.

I love to be tied when tickled. Not just because it keeps me from kicking the ler, and keeps me still enough to be tickled more effectively, but also because the ler can indulge in just the sort of verbal teasing that you indicate. She can taunt me about how helpless I am as she tickles an tickles. 😀 😀 😀

Never tried t-n-t (tied n' tickled) before. I've been curious about it but am very nervous giving that much control to another person. It would take a whole lot of convincing to get me to be the lee on that one.

Now, being the ler, that's another issue!

When Drew and I first got together, I wasn't doing any bondage at all. (And I don't recommend it if you don't know your play partner) But, as we got to know one another and felt safe doing so, we began to try it out...a bit at a time. Now, when we get into a more involved tickle session, I wouldn't play without it. The main reason for this is the safety of anyone going after me.

When I'm restrained, I get into that space where I don't fight much...though I DO play fight and bite on occassion just to yank the chains of my LERS. 😀 But, if I'm not tied, I struggle a lot more and tend to kick people. Having kicked Drew a few times is what led to us looking into using cuffs in the first place.

When we just clown around and have a tickle fight, we don't use bondage at all. Those are generally brief and spontaneous and don't really need it. As you say, it's a matter of personal preference.

Well, I'm glad to see that people are into the subject of bondage/tying with tickling!

As I've said, to me it goes hand in hand atleast speaking from the ler's point of view. I've been in both positions.

I love it when I have a victim in the dark or semi darkness. It makes it even easier for me to surprise and "frighten" them when I'm first about to strike in a particularly sensative area. "Does it tickle you here? or here?" hehehe

I like both and as with most things in tickling "it depends"...

Tickle wrestling is great in that you get closness with the other person, there is that unknown that you might LOOSE the tickle fight, the battles to get position on the other person, and of course it allows those that have issues with bondage to still play but the drawback to this is that someone could get hurt(unintentionally) during this type of play.

Bondage allows the lee to just let go and let the ler in control, to totally rely on the the bondage to keep you in your place so the lee can thrash and let loose without hurting the ler and the ler can consentrate on the tickling of the ler and not holding the lee down.
Bondage also allows the couple to better test limits, so that the lee is in bonage they can't slip away or run away(even if they really don't WANT too) and the lee just has to take it.

There is a melding of sorts between these two options and that is having some people do just the holding down and some others doing the tickling...I saw this done very effectively at a gathering once and it was very cool...the lee wasn't going ANYWHERE but the lee still had the idea that she could get out if need be and quickly.

For me personally as a lee, I like the bondage better because I tend to dominate when I am the tickler or if I get the chance to tickle.
So being bound forces me to just take it...plus it lets me focus on the tickling being done, the feelings of the ticklings, instead of worring that I might hurt the lee with a kick or punch...

I agree with you 100% Shannon. Bondage is damn near nessary if not definitely prefered. Nothing better than to have your lee all nice and tied and then tickled senseless. I am the same way as the LEE too.

Better to have both hands available for the tickling too!

I prefer when the girl I'm tickling is free. It's more... natural for me. She can scream and roll on the bed, but if she really wants to be tickled, she won't escape. Anyway, you need to tie her if she's extremely ticklish so that you can't hold her legs to tickle them. I don't, however, like tickling girls to their limits - it's not pleasant for them then. My favourite "tickling position" is sitting next to the girl on the sofa and tickling her nyloned feet slightly, so that she giggles a little.

The situation changes if it comes to upperbody tickling. I love tickling girls armpits and when I'm about to do that, I want her arms to be tied over her head so that she could jump and wriggle, but she couldn't avoid being tickled. That's lovely for me and for her 🙂

We got into bondage long before the idea of tickling came up. Now that I've tried being tickled while tied I can say that it's a lot more fun for me than just being tickled. The helpless feeling is great, and I don't think she'd be able to do some of what she does that make me nuts, like attack my armpits, if I wasn't tied - I would resist too much.

I had my first tied up experience recently and it was wonderful. But I also love when my b/f comes up behind me, puts his arms around me, then tickles the heck out of my sides. Playful is just as much fun. But he's finding it hard to restrain me on his own... 🙂
