Hi all!
Today i met up with a girl, who i have known for a wile but never really hung out with. She just had a break up, and called to see if she could hang out. Naturally, as the nice guy i am, i said yes and she came round.

Now this girl is HOT! not just HOT but SMOKEN!!!!! with very sexy, size 6.5 feet.

She sat down on the couch with me to watch T.V and we started to fool around. I asked her if she was ticklish and she said she was dismissively. I then asked her where here worst spot was. she said her side. I then asked what about her feet. she said very quickly that they weren't at all. A minute or so passed and i grabbed her leg and said give my your foot, i'll give you a foot massage. pulling back as she did i realized that the statement about her not being ticklish was only a ploy to keep me away! My god this girl was ticklish! i have never seen someone react in that way.

So here is the point to my post. Has anyone gone tried to tickle someone, and found out that the ticklee was just way, and i mean way too ticklish? I felt sorry for this girl. She just couldn't handle it. I only tickled her for a little bit because i felt so bad! Do you think i should have just unleashed the biggest tickling of her life? or would you have done the same? This is driving me crazy!!!!!! aaaaaaaaahh!

i think that maybe you should've left her alone when she was dismissive. maybe i'm being too sensitive here, but it sounds to me like you forced the issue a little too much and wound up making her freak out. i dunno, i'm probably reading too far into this, but it seems a little off to me.
 
Have to agree with Emily... she just broke up with someone and called you to hang out, right? Even the making out part... I dunno, I'd feel like a creep if she was someone I truly cared about... hot or not.
 
I'm surprised you're ignoring his question in order to offer advice on how he should interact with this girl. We don't know nearly enough about her, him, their relationship, or this situation to make those kind of judgements.

For my part, I've never tickled anyone who was so ticklish that it made me think twice. But I might just be meaner than you. 😀

Man, this girl came over because she needed support, because she was sad, and you forced your urges on her! That really sucks, especially since she obviously didn't want to be tickled! Most people (including ME!) react quite aggressive when they get tickled while being in a bad mood, in my opinion you are pretty lucky she didn't punch you!
 
Perhaps we need more input for the OP before this gets out of hand.... but on the surface, it just sounds wrong.
 
What I would REALLY like to know is how the girl reacted to it!

And he took me aside, and with a wry grin told me something which I did not like to hear, but regrettably have found to be true both by observation and by experimentation in the many years which have taken me, somehow, into my mid-50s, and more 'encounters' than that shy post adolescent could ever have thought possible.

'Don't be too nice', he said. 'Otherwise, you'll always be the sort of 'nice guy' who has plenty of female friends, all relying on you to listen to their problems because they know you're harmless.

And everyone else will be fucking them'.

I can understand you, because I don't like tickling someone who doesn't like it. So I often think twice. May'be I'm too nice, then?

It is true that some girls tend to go for the bad guys....but only being bad if there is no other attraction whatsoever won't work either. Plus: we like our feelings respected unless we feel totally worthless!

This. ^^^^ Some pretty harsh responses to a guy no one in this thread probably knows. I fail to see the logic in how a statement only a few sentences long warrants anyone here to assess, judge, or criticize his behavior based on something no one was witness to. Should we call the police? Get off the moral high horse already. He only asked a question.
 
There is a time and place to be nice to girls and not be too nice. You can't ever be a dick, but you can't be a total squid either.

In this situation I would have been uber-supportive, after some time had passed I would withdraw a little more. Situations like this require sensitivity, though.

yes I've tried to tickle girls who were so ticklish, it was too much for them to handle (which really drives me crazy, cause then I just want to tickle them even more!)
still I think you did the right thing when you stopped, because if you keep tickling her and she doesn't like it, you will just annoy her and she might get upset.

so my advice would be not to tickle her unless you know she's cool with it!
 
You know what cracks me up? People are criticizing the OP for "attacking" this girl when she needed support, but did any of them read one crucial sentence in the original post?

This girl is coming for comfort in her painful hour? She's fooling around with the guy! Gee, that would have got me thinking about my urges too. Plus, we really don't know what the girl's behavior was AFTER the tickling attempt. Did she just pack up and go home? Did she slap him? Or did they resume fooling around? We don't know! She could have been laughing and grinning the whole time and dismissing his tickling attempts as something playful. Remember, this girl was comfortable enough in her "darkest hour" to fool around with the guy.

Even if the fooling around was nothing sexual, he didn't say she was sobbing in his arms. It was a fun interaction before the tickling started.

Now, to the OP, I don't think you should have done a full fledge tickle attack. You got some tickles in and keep building that relationship. You might be able to give her longer tickles next time.

You guys don't know the whole story, how she was acting, whether she seemed okay with what was happening or if he truly was taking advantage of girls on the rebound.. how about instead of commenting on the situation, answering his question?

I believe I've tickled girls that might be described as "too ticklish" but I didn't wanna stop, personally the more ticklish they are the more i wanna tickle them lol..
 
Here my point and then I will shut up. I have never, ever forced myself on any one that does not want to be tickled. This girl just had a break up and was looking for a man to have a little compassion for her. I am not saying you are a bad person my friend. I have a lot of friends that are girls. When they have come to me with issues I give them a hug and tell them I am there for them. That is what they need. As do we all when we are feeling down. Tickling can be fun so don't make it a bad thing. Maybe her ex tickled her all the time and she associated tickling with him. Always get to know her issues and feel for her. Her comfort level with you is important as it is with any 'lee. I could be wrong but those are my thoughts.
 
It all depends on if she told you to stop or not. If she was just laughing and not telling you to stop, maybe she needed it as a stress relief. I think if her break up stays a break up and she keeps coming around to hang out with you then you know she likes you, and then I would say tickle her more.........

I am a guy, and even I have to agree with that. This dude makes all us guys look like we're horn-dogs with only one thing on our mind... well maybe so, but that's beside the point.
 
I'm glad to see that there are guys who agree that this was out of line. Now I am in good faith that the apocalypse won't be in 2012! :xpulcy:
 
Does anyone pay attention anymore? Can someone please tell me what this guy did wrong? Read his initial post. Where did he say the girl was uncomfortable to what he was doing? First, he said they were fooling around. People missed that part.

Second, do anyone other than the girl and the OP know what the girl's reaction was to this? People tend to think the negative about things. How do you know what the "atmosphere" of their interaction was? Stop thinking the worse and making this guy seem like an out of control nut. The guy even stopped tickling her because she was way too ticklish, NOT BECAUSE SHE WAS UPSET. Stop reading too much into things. Remember, the girl CALLED HIM to hang out. How do you know if she didn't already sob her eyes out and this tickling interaction occured much LATER?

People need to stop acting like the moral police everytime someone says they tickled someone. Not every "surprise" tickle is perveted and aggressive with a non TMF member. This guy didn't go overboard with it. How the hell else will he ever find out if she likes tickling or not?
