Hi gang! Last year, I posted a thread asking twenty questions of the members of the TMF, loosely based on Playboy's article of the same name. It was a pretty succesful thread, and showed exactly how open a community we really have. In the spirit of getting to know each other even better, I decided to come up with another twenty questions of our members for this year. Some are goofy, some are informative and some are serious. A couple are even repeats of a good question from last year. Answer the ones you want...although I suggest answering them all honestly. It only helps us get closer. :cool2:

Great replies, Ray. Wow, some of these are tough, but I'll give it a shot!

1) If you could go back to and live in any decade of the 20th century, which would it be and why?

To redo or just experience? To redo, I'd like to go back to the 90's and stop myself from making some of the stupid mistakes I did back then. If you just mean to experience, I'd love to go back to the 70's and live out the decade at my current age. A series of years that cheesy HAD to be a good time!

2) If you were givin the money and resources to make a film out of any novel, what would it be?

"Next" by Nick Shaman. The most disturbing and frightening book I've ever read. Would make an awesome scary movie if done right. 2nd choice would be Poppy Z. Brite's adaption of "The Crow - The Lazarus Heart". Incredible.

3) What is the single best thing you know how to cook? Your "specialty", if you will.

My yummy hot gooey cheesy chili dip! Everyone who tries it BEGS for the recipe and inhales it like they haven't eaten in days! It's SUPER nummers!
(Editor's note: I've had Mimi's famous dip at two gatherings. It is truly awesome, she ain't lying! - Dave)

4) What's the biggest lie you ever told a close friend?

Wow...I'm honestly not sure. Probably when I told my friend Amy I was happy for her when she got married, even though I think her husband is the biggest dickweed assclown on the planet, and he has since proven me right numerous times (he's going back to prison in 2 weeks because he refuses to find a full time job...lovely fella).

5) Where was the "strangest" place you ever had sex? At least strange by vanilla standards.

In the front seat of a Dodge Dakota parked at the end of a landing strip at the airport.

6) Who is your fictional counterpart? (Film or print) The one make-believe character that is most like yourself.

Miss Piggy. Without a doubt.

7) You're sitting at a bar. A priest and a rabbi walk in together and sit next to you. You turn to them and say, "...

"....so I was wondering if you could help me expel this spirit whose been bugging me since I last used my Ouija board a few weeks back?"

8) What single sitcom do you consider the funniest of all time?

Of ALL time? Probably the Cosby Show for just having so many damn funny skits for so many years running. Currently I find GREAT amusement in "Aqua Teen Hunger Force", though. High quality entertainment, there. 😉

9) If you could be granted the talents of a virtuoso at any musical instrument, what would it be?

Saxaphone. I just ADORE the mourning soulful wail of a Sax.

10) Which pet from any point in your life was "that special pet"?

I still have him. Earnhardt, my big fat cranky intollerant mamas boy. Doesn't like any of the other cats, doesn't like kids, and doesn't like most adults, but he'll get up on his hind legs and tap me insistently on the arm for periods of 20 minutes or more just begging to be picked up and cradled in my arms like a big baby. Sleeps on my pillow every night, and slaps the hell out of any other cat that tries to invade -HIS- Momma space and time. He was the very first pet I got after I moved out on my own, and 10 years later he's still dominating my household. :cat:

11) What was the thing or experience that terrified you the most?

The heart attack/reaction I had 5 weeks ago that landed me in the hospital for a week. Especially when the stress test came back positive and they had to rush me in for the angiogram with the intention of doing a balloon and stint, and possibly a triple bypass if the narrowing existed in all three arteries. First words out of the Docs mouth when he got around to informing me of the risks were "You could die during this procedure." I don't think I've ever been so terrified.

EDIT: Wanted to come back in an edit this one question quick. When I originally answered it with the above reply, I did not consider our car accident back in Feb. That split second I had when I turned my head and saw the semi coming for us, and knew it was going to hit us was the single most terrifying moment of my life. I had only enough time to register one thought: "We're going to die." Thankfully, that didn't happen. 😉

12) What do you think was the greatest NFL dynasty of all time?

Either the Green Bay Packers in Superbowls 1 and 2 under Vince Lombardi, or the current day New England Patriots.

13) Which vice or habit do you most wish you could make disappear?

My soda addiction.

14) What is the stupidest thing you've ever personally witnessed someone do?

My friends dipshit husband who I spoke of above, leaving my 5 year old who was playing at their house alone to babysit his 4 year old son and 3 year old daughter while he went to run some errands...and he did not even inform me. I showed up to pick up my daughter and found the 3 of them playing in his yard, locked out of the house so they "couldn't get into anything." And he wonders why I took the kids with me and reported him to the police...

15) If you could listen to only one genre of music for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

Probably rock, since I enjoy more bands and songs from that genre over all others.

16) What is your Dream Car?

Cadillac Sixteen....be still my beating heart. :woot:

17) Even if you're open about tickling, who is the one person you would NEVER tell about your fetish, under any circumstances?

Nearly everyone knows. Probably my Grandma.

18) At what moment did you feel most alive?

The first weekend I spent with Lazzy....my entire body was on fire, my mind was electrified, and I felt like a bomb about ready to explode from sheer happiness and energy and fun and amazement.

19) If you could tickle-torture any one person, but ONLY that person, for the rest of your life, who would it be? ('Lees, same question, but you'd be picking one tickler for the rest of your life.)

Lazarus. Obviously.

20) How do you feel?

I'm pretty soft and squishy. Emotionally? Mellow. 😉

An internet survey that's interesting!?!? My hat is off to you, Mr. Dave.
*makes appropriate hat-waving gesture here*

1) If you could go back to and live in any decade of the 20th century, which would it be and why?

The 1950's. I'd want to be involved with the structuring of the United Nations. 🙂

2) If you were givin the money and resources to make a film out of any novel, what would it be?

"The Naked God" trilogy (it's all technically one book if they follow really closely onto each other like that) by Peter F. Hamilton. The single greatest work of science fiction this side of Asmiov.

3) What is the single best thing you know how to cook? Your "specialty", if you will.

Easy Mac. But it is freaking GOOD Easy Mac.

4) What's the biggest lie you ever told a close friend?

No seriously, that looks fantastic....

5) Where was the "strangest" place you ever had sex? At least strange by vanilla standards.

Still waiting for marriage. Yes, I'm the only one. It's fine. Call me for the sacrifice.

6) Who is your fictional counterpart? (Film or print) The one make-believe character that is most like yourself.

I'm pretty sure I'm actually the fictional one. Somebody just like me is out there right now having a perfectly normal life.

7) You're sitting at a bar. A priest and a rabbi walk in together and sit next to you. You turn to them and say, "...

"...daycare centre's next door."

(I can make Catholic jokes, I'm Catholic 😛 )

8) What single sitcom do you consider the funniest of all time?

The one I'm watching RIGHT NOW. It's hilarious!

9) If you could be granted the talents of a virtuoso at any musical instrument, what would it be?

Keyboard/Piano. I'm not sure if they're similar enough that I could get away with both as one but may as well dream big.

10) Which pet from any point in your life was "that special pet"?

My dog right now... he's 17 and still pretty puppy like 🙂 Except for being really fat.

11) What was the thing or experience that terrified you the most?

Hmmmm... being in car wrecks is always terrifying...

12) What do you think was the greatest NFL dynasty of all time?

The Bills.

(Don't bother - I'm a Bills fan, I'm already immune to reality).

13) Which vice or habit do you most wish you could make disappear?

Smoking. Ugh! Stupid stupid stupid. I can understand not quitting from addiction - but I can't understand STARTING.

14) What is the stupidest thing you've ever personally witnessed someone do?

Hahahah... practically everything between February and May of 2004. ::lol:: You have NO idea how much stupid you can actually cram into one room.

15) If you could listen to only one genre of music for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

Happy Hardcore. 🙂 (Quick primer - it's a very fast, uplifting Electronic genre charecterized by bouncy synth lines, happy lyrics, and good kicking bass) Because it's honestly ridiculously good. I don't listen to anything else, ever, and I'm never sick of it. And it's happy. And fun. And can inspire your mood. What more can you ask of music?

16) What is your Dream Car?

Mass transit. 😛 I aspire to one day lead some part of the world somewhere into being completely car-free. They are such gross wastes of materials, gasoline, and, all too often, lives, to accomodate a tragically selfish social infrastructure. An effecient, , highly connected and well-maintained mass transit system can be adequetely funded with just a small percentage of the amount people routinely pay for cars being instead collected for the Transit Commission.

17) Even if you're open about tickling, who is the one person you would NEVER tell about your fetish, under any circumstances?

I'm not really all that open about it off here anyway. 🙂

18) At what moment did you feel most alive?

Almost every time I've ever played in front of a crowd. Every time... it's exhilirating (except spelled correctly) (Yeah I type with an accent)

19) If you could tickle-torture any one person, but ONLY that person, for the rest of your life, who would it be? ('Lees, same question, but you'd be picking one tickler for the rest of your life.)

Accepting applications ::lol:: Not really though, I don't think I really have an answer to this one off the top of my head.

20) How do you feel? Fantastic. 🙂

3) What is the single best thing you know how to cook? Your "specialty", if you will. My meatloaf is pretty good.

4) What's the biggest lie you ever told a close friend? I've never lied to a close friend.

11) What was the thing or experience that terrified you the most? A b-girl (hooker) was shooting at a friend of mine after they had an argument. He was hauling ass across the parking lot. I ran out of the bar and started to charge her to take away the gun. She turned and pulled the trigger with the pistol about 5 feet from my face. She was out of bullets... so I'm still here to harass you guys.

12) What do you think was the greatest NFL dynasty of all time?

13) Which vice or habit do you most wish you could make disappear? Over-eating

14) What is the stupidest thing you've ever personally witnessed someone do? The guy who poured charcoal lighter fluid on a campfire. The fire went up the stream and the plastic container exploded. Caught the upper half of his body on fire. I had to help put him out.

15) If you could listen to only one genre of music for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Classic rock. Why?... Rush; Jethro Tull; Alan Parsons the list goes on.

16) What is your Dream Car? Rolls Royce

17) Even if you're open about tickling, who is the one person you would NEVER tell about your fetish, under any circumstances?

3) What is the single best thing you know how to cook? Your "specialty", if you will.

Maybe this is out of convenience, but I don't usually remember what I lie about... 😉

5) Where was the "strangest" place you ever had sex? At least strange by vanilla standards.

This isn't really a strange place, but I did have sex on a friend's couch before. It wasn't particularly comfortable....

6) Who is your fictional counterpart? (Film or print) The one make-believe character that is most like yourself.

Rob Gordon from Hi-Fidelity.

7) You're sitting at a bar. A priest and a rabbi walk in together and sit next to you. You turn to them and say, "...

"Is this the beginning of a joke?"

8) What single sitcom do you consider the funniest of all time?

Seinfeld

9) If you could be granted the talents of a virtuoso at any musical instrument, what would it be?

Piano: it's versatile enough to be used in almost every genre of music.

10) Which pet from any point in your life was "that special pet"?

My neighbor's calico cat; he was the friendliest cat I've ever known. Sadly, his owners moved away a few years ago.

11) What was the thing or experience that terrified you the most?

Being stranded in Miami without cash or a working credit card.

12) What do you think was the greatest NFL dynasty of all time?

13) Which vice or habit do you most wish you could make disappear?

I'd just like to get rid of my social anxiety.

14) What is the stupidest thing you've ever personally witnessed someone do?

A friend of mine has a habit of getting drunk at parties and making a total ass of himself while trying to impress the ladies with a rather asinine sense of humor. It's especially amusing when the women he's hitting on happen to be girls that I've been involved with before.

15) If you could listen to only one genre of music for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

Techno: it constantly evolves....

16) What is your Dream Car?

My friend Adam, because he would run his mouth about it to everyone he met.

In the height of a particularly good relationship. It didn't last long, but it was fun.

19) If you could tickle-torture any one person, but ONLY that person, for the rest of your life, who would it be? ('Lees, same question, but you'd be picking one tickler for the rest of your life.)

I would like to have worked in Hollywood as a writer or director or actor during the 1930's.

2) If you were givin the money and resources to make a film out of any novel, what would it be?
"The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress" by Robert A. Heinlein.

Sorry...I'm pretty vanilla there.

6) Who is your fictional counterpart? (Film or print) The one make-believe character that is most like yourself.

8) What single sitcom do you consider the funniest of all time?

A Rolls-Royce pickup, like Travis McGee had.

17) Even if you're open about tickling, who is the one person you would NEVER tell about your fetish, under any circumstances?

Her name wouldn't mean anything to you. She's not famous.

20) How do you feel?
Fine as frog hair split four ways! Thanks for asking.

I just caught up on Harvey Birdman and SeaLab, and it's time for me to go to bed, but I want to respond to this post first. (Venture Brothers is on, but I can write while it plays in the background.)

Myriads, good job putting this post up in the headlines like that, or I may not have seen it. Dave Twenty-One Twelve, long time since we've crossed foils, and you've come up with an irresistible list of questions. I just have to throw in.

1) If you could go back to and live in any decade of the 20th century, which would it be and why?

I'm going with the '50's. Although I'd have to put up with that McCarthyism crap, the malt shop Sha-na-na-ness just sings to me.

2) If you were givin the money and resources to make a film out of any novel, what would it be?

I want to give major props to Venray for mentioning Casteneda's initial trilogy. It's always awesome to hear of someone else who reveres that work. For me, I would have said PERFUME, but it's already becoming a movie, so I'm going to pick something else. I'm very fond of the John Bellairs book THE HOUSE WITH A CLOCK IN ITS WALLS. That's my pick. A close second is SHADOWLAND by Peter Straub.

3) What is the single best thing you know how to cook? Your "specialty", if you will.

I'm going to say my Italian chicken cutlets. They're as irresistible as this list of questions.

4) What's the biggest lie you ever told a close friend?

Tough one. Nothing comes to mind. I'm not a good liar, so I stay away from it.

5) Where was the "strangest" place you ever had sex? At least strange by vanilla standards.

I had a girlfriend who insisted we linger behind the tour group in the House of Seven Gables. She went down, but I stopped it after a minute due to fear of being caught, and I made us catch up with the group. The craziest place I ever did it all the way would have to be in a car in a beach parking garage in the middle of the day. The same girlfriend was sitting on my lap in the driver's seat, and people were walking by. That was kind of nuts.

6) Who is your fictional counterpart? (Film or print) The one make-believe character that is most like yourself.

Another hard one. As a kid I fashioned myself after Mork. Then I was HG Wells in TIME AFTER TIME. As a teenager I became Harry Angel in ANGEL HEART, and then in college I did my best to be both Cal Trask and Jim Stark. Right now though... I think I'll get romantic and say Roland. Cuz, hey, I'm looking for the holy grail in my own way too.

7) You're sitting at a bar. A priest and a rabbi walk in together and sit next to you. You turn to them and say, "...

"So what have you two decided?"

8) What single sitcom do you consider the funniest of all time?

STRANGERS WITH CANDY, though we'd be hard-pressed to call it a sitcom. If we have to get conventional, let's go with TAXI.

9) If you could be granted the talents of a virtuoso at any musical instrument, what would it be?

God, I hate being one of the millions, but I have to go with piano as well. Dammit, Chopin, why have you vexed me so?!!

10) Which pet from any point in your life was "that special pet"?

Just after college, I had a cat named Cooper (named after Special Agent Dale Cooper, of course), who was the be-all end-all of pets. He would talk to you like a dog, and I would take him for walks late late at night. No leash. I'd come home around 2am from my restaurant job, and say, "C'mon, Cooper, let's go have a cigarette." He'd follow me outside, and he'd stay at my heel all the way around the block. I loved that cat.

11) What was the thing or experience that terrified you the most?

I was in the Joshua Tree. On acid. 18 years old. I made a ridiculous jump from one very tall rock to another very tall rock. I landed, I slipped, I caught myself. I was certain there was some God interference happening at the moment.

12) What do you think was the greatest NFL dynasty of all time?

Not my cuppa.

13) Which vice or habit do you most wish you could make disappear?

These are hard questions! I think that's why I love 'em! My bad habit is eating junk. Krispy Kremes?! Who can say no?! Even if I'm not hungry, I'll have one!

14) What is the stupidest thing you've ever personally witnessed someone do?

Once, late at night, I saw a car full of idiots drive the wrong way over one of those "Do Not Back Up - Severe Tire Damage" spike racks. All four tires blew. It was an amazing sight. They all stuck their heads out of the windows and looked at the tires at the same time.

15) If you could listen to only one genre of music for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

A tough one again! What is with you and the tough questions?! But I think any one genre would start to lack after a while. Hmmm. What genre would you label GROOVE ARMADA under? Whatever that is -- techno, trance, house, whatever -- I'll go with that.

16) What is your Dream Car?

Water-propelled. But in real life... I like the big-ass convertibles as a general rule.

17) Even if you're open about tickling, who is the one person you would NEVER tell about your fetish, under any circumstances?

I'm very open about it. But I would probably never tell... um... gosh, I can't think of anyone, really.

18) At what moment did you feel most alive?

I'm jumping aboard what seems like the cliche bus, but it's really not. If you've ever had a child, you know. When my first son was born, the doctor lifted him up and handed him to me, with a casual, "Daddy?" It was the first time in my life I was being called that name. I took my son and held him, we looked into each other's eyes, and I sang him "Moonlight Drive" as he mouthed at the towel he was wrapped in.

19) If you could tickle-torture any one person, but ONLY that person, for the rest of your life, who would it be? ('Lees, same question, but you'd be picking one tickler for the rest of your life.)

I'm not sure if many of you know her or not, but she's here on this forum as Penny Lane. She's beautiful and sexy and very very ticklish everywhere. I can't see that tickling her would EVER get boring. And don't get me started on her feet! Good God!

20) How do you feel?

Frankly, Dave twenty-one, I'm tired. It's 1:15am, and I have to get up early to make breakfasts, make lunches, and drive the kids to two different schools. If you don't mind, I'm gonna turn in.

(Now it's 9:04am, I'm at work, and I just edited this post. So many mistakes the tired Boom made! Sloppy! But I think I fixed them all. Now I'm feeling good, wanting a coffee, and feeling the pull of what I know will be a busy busy day for me in the world of movie advertising. Think of me later this week, everyone, when you see all over your TV sets, "On the stroke of twelve, the spell will be broken...")

Take it easy yo.

5) Where was the "strangest" place you ever had sex? At least strange by vanilla standards.

Sorry to disappoint you here, but I'm pretty "vanilla" in this realm. 98% is in our bedroom. Early in marriage, before kids, a few times in the living room.

13) Which vice or habit do you most wish you could make disappear?

Reacting in anger to frustrating situations

14) What is the stupidest thing you've ever personally witnessed someone do?

My father was an engineer and could fix or build nearly anything. When I was about 8 years old, he and our neighbor next door were building steps into a small hill between our houses. They dug out the turf and built the wooden frame then set it in place. They looked at it and said "we have to start all over. We made it wrong." I told my dad he set it in the hill upside down. He turned it around and it was fine. 🙂

Homemade macaroni and cheese... I rock at it

Mac and cheese is my all time fave dish. My mom used to make it from scratch and bake it. I'd love to try yours, kitten. 🙂

1.If you could go back and live in any decade in the 20th century, which would it be and why?

I actually thought about this all day, as much as I would be interested, probably not the 20s or 30s(the Depression and that Prohibition thing). Not the 40s(WW2), maybe the 50s but most likely the 60s. Most of the great jazz and blues guys were with us and you probably could still get a burger and malted in a drugstore.

2.If you were given money and resources to make a film out of any novel, what would it be?

Either "Chrysanthemums of Death" or "Tapioca-the Uncensored Story"

3.What's the single best thing you know how to cook?

Cheese sandwich. In microwave oven

4. What's the biggest lie you ever told a close friend?

Don't know, past is too clouded by Jack Daniels

8. What single sitcom do you consider the funniest of all-time?

The FUNNIEST, without serious moments or stupid moral lessons at the end?
Hands down: Seinfeld. (Married with Children close second)

9. If you could be granted the talents of any virtuoso on any musical instrument, what would it be?

Ten years ago I would've said guitar, now I wanna say piano. Good honky tonk, stride, or boogie-woogie-style piano like Art Tatum, James P. Johnson, or Willie "the lion" Smith.

11. What was the thing or experience that terrified you most?

Any one of my several car accidents in the last 20 years.

12. What do you think was the greatest NFL dynasty of all time?

Don't know...I don't really follow football.

15. If you could only listen to one genre of music for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Jazz. There's so much interesting music in that field and it's not all burned out like rock music is today. Besides, as far as rock music, I wouldn't pick any genre that Train or Creed is part of.

20. How do you feel?

Moderatley Neato!

Time for dinner

Ok, might as well join in and answer my own questions....

1) If you could go back to and live in any decade of the 20th century, which would it be and why?

I really wanted to say the '80's (best and worst of music, the one decade that we really weren't at war with anyone), but the more I listen to my Mom talk, the more I want to say the innocence of the '50's. After WWII, before the social upheavals of the '60's...a time when a man could have one job and support a family. Plus, as a musician...it was a time when everything was new and so many different sounds were being created.

2) If you were givin the money and resources to make a film out of any novel, what would it be?

Anne McCaffery's Dragonriders of Pern.

3) What is the single best thing you know how to cook? Your "specialty", if you will.

My 3-layer Eggplant, Spinach and Portabella Parmesan. 10,000 calories per bite and worth every fat cell.

4) What's the biggest lie you ever told a close friend?

It was actually a series of small lies. I kept making up stuff to avoid going places with a friend and his new girlfriend whom he was infatuated with and I could not stand.

5) Where was the "strangest" place you ever had sex? At least strange by vanilla standards.

A graveyard.

6) Who is your fictional counterpart? (Film or print) The one make-believe character that is most like yourself.

Qui-Gon Jinn

7) You're sitting at a bar. A priest and a rabbi walk in together and sit next to you. You turn to them and say, "...

Did you forget the duck?

8) What single sitcom do you consider the funniest of all time?

Family Guy

9) If you could be granted the talents of a virtuoso at any musical instrument, what would it be?

I would be tempted to say one of the instruments I already play, but I'm happy with my talent level on these. Being able to play what I do now, I'd love to add the ability to play flute at the virtuoso level. Not only could I stop reworking the flute parts on Tull songs for the guitar, but I really dig jazz-flute...that laid-back wholly ethereal sound.

10) Which pet from any point in your life was "that special pet"?

I have a deep-seated love for animals, and have had many. If I had to pick one, it would be Pumpkin...the cat who mothered nine of the cats who've been part of my "herd" over the last ten years, and was the grandmother of five of them. She was a simple little orange cat who considered every other cat in the world (and most people) "her kitten". I once took in an abandoned kitten no older than two weeks, and Pumpkin nursed it! She had an almost human face as far as expressiveness went, and had this little "trill" when she was showing affection, fluttering the tips of her ears at the same time. Sadly, she passed away at age 9 a little while ago and is sorely missed.

11) What was the thing or experience that terrified you the most?

Being stuck out at sea on a 24-foot sailboat during a bad storm. It was between Catalina Island and Marina Del Ray...but by the time my friend and I spent 17 hours getting tossed around by waves you can't even imagine until you've been in the middle of them, we landed in San Diego. I haven't been on a boat since.

12) What do you think was the greatest NFL dynasty of all time?

The Pittsburgh Steelers of the '70's. What separates the Steelers from the likes of Dallas, New England and others is thier level of play in that era in the seasons they didn't make the Super Bowl. If you look back on the playoffs in the '70's, it could be argued that Pittsburgh was maybe within a handful of plays of going to six or seven consecutive Super Bowls.

13) Which vice or habit do you most wish you could make disappear?

Procrastination.

14) What is the stupidest thing you've ever personally witnessed someone do?

When I was 19, I worked in a metal fabrication plant. This complete moron was running the shear (a machine that cuts large sheets of metal to size), and was cutting sheets of 1/8th inch aluminum. The sheet gets jammed sideways in the machine and Captain Brainchild grabs the sides of the thin aluminum sheet...with bare hands...and in a typical display of young-male-machismo attempts to pull the sheet out of the machine. He sliced open both palms to the bone and lost the use of three of his ten fingers due to traumatic nerve damage.

15) If you could listen to only one genre of music for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

Progressive rock. In thier heyday, bands like Yes, Rush, Genesis, Jethro Tull, Marillion, Asia and others drew upon the influences of so many divergent styles of music that you could get your fix of almost any other style. Everything from classical to blues to jazz found thier way into the rock stylings of these masters.

16) What is your Dream Car?

1957 Chevy Bel-Air. I'm not a big car nut, and this is the only car I've ever lusted after.

17) Even if you're open about tickling, who is the one person you would NEVER tell about your fetish, under any circumstances?

Well, Mom probably already knows, and if she doesn't she wouldn't be terribly surprised. I'd have to say my youngest sister. My stepfather really brainwashed her with Catholic dogma, and she just wouldn't get it.

18) At what moment did you feel most alive?

Doing a 400-foot bungee jump with a single-ankle harness. A nose-dive free-fall defiance of death. I went three times that day.

19) If you could tickle-torture any one person, but ONLY that person, for the rest of your life, who would it be? ('Lees, same question, but you'd be picking one tickler for the rest of your life.)

You know, everybody and his brother is expecting me to say Jessica Alba. However, realistically, I have no idea what kind of a ticklee she is, if she's reactive and playful enough or even if she would tolerat being tied up. So, I'm going to say Rebekah, my ex-girlfriend and only real deep love of my life. I wrote a few non-fiction stories about her, and she really was that adventurous...I could tie her up any way that struck our fancy, she'd try anything, was horribly ticklish but enjoyed it and truly understood the dynamics of a healthy Dom/Sub relationship. But, if we're going with fantasy...yeah, Jessica Alba.

20) How do you feel?

Hopeful.

OK I'm game - I will try to answer all....

Here is my list

1) If you could go back to and live in any decade of the 20th century, which would it be and why?
The 80's, I liked it back then. I was young, single, and had the world ahead of me, and could still run like a deer.

2) If you were givin the money and resources to make a film out of any novel, what would it be?

They actually made a film out of it, but they didn't nearly give it the justice it deserved. "The Power of One" about an abused boy who grows to be South Africa's middleweight champion while bringing together the tribes during the pre WWII apartied days. Very good book.

3) What is the single best thing you know how to cook? Your "specialty", if you will.

My meatballs....wife LOVES them, and I have been greatly complimented for them....

4) What's the biggest lie you ever told a close friend?

That I didn't have a foot fetish..LOL.

5) Where was the "strangest" place you ever had sex? At least strange by vanilla standards.

On the top deck of a cruise ship. Not always done, highly recommended

6) Who is your fictional counterpart? (Film or print) The one make-believe character that is most like yourself.

Herbie the Dentist...LOL

7) You're sitting at a bar. A priest and a rabbi walk in together and sit next to you. You turn to them and say, "...

"Having the usual?"
"Hey, I'm glad you left the 12 year old outside"
"Well, I guess I know who's buying"

8) What single sitcom do you consider the funniest of all time?

Monty Python....hands down

9) If you could be granted the talents of a virtuoso at any musical instrument, what would it be?

Piano...I have one, can't tune it, can't play it...looks nice though..holds alot of papers

10) Which pet from any point in your life was "that special pet"?

I guess my current cat Romeo (or Romeow)

11) What was the thing or experience that terrified you the most?

Flying home from Syria and hearing the French pilot talk about Beirut just as we took off...I was hoping he was talking about baseball....we landed there only to take on baggage.....why? I don't know, no people, just baggage, from a place with bombed out buildings ringing the airport....it was a strange trip to Paris knowing that Lebanese baggage was safe with all us Infedels...

12) What do you think was the greatest NFL dynasty of all time?

Have to say the current Patriots...just bigger and stronger today

13) Which vice or habit do you most wish you could make disappear?

Chewing on my tongue....

14) What is the stupidest thing you've ever personally witnessed someone do?

"I never had sex with that woman...Ms Lewinsky.."

15) If you could listen to only one genre of music for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

Rock...lots to chose from. I would miss all the others though

16) What is your Dream Car?

I might hurt myself spelling it....Lamburgheni (SP?) or Rolls Royce

17) Even if you're open about tickling, who is the one person you would NEVER tell about your fetish, under any circumstances?

Mom

18) At what moment did you feel most alive?

During my first crush...Randi if you're out there....thanks for the first feelings of desire

19) If you could tickle-torture any one person, but ONLY that person, for the rest of your life, who would it be? ('Lees, same question, but you'd be picking one tickler for the rest of your life.)

She should know who she is, I can't even cheat by using initials. She is something special though

20) How do you feel?

Suddenly had that Spock-like stare from the movie after Spock supposedly died....anyone know the scene.

I am tired as always, but always more alive at night. Stressed over my Graduate classes and the workload ahead...but that is always there. I know someday life will be easier only if I can make it that far... so head down and move forward...

"Life is what happens to you as you are busy making other plans" - I think Lennon said that

Wow! I think I remember the one from last year...

Well, here goes...

1) If you could go back to and live in any decade of the 20th century, which would it be and why?

I'd love to go back and relive the '60s for the rest of my life. Everything afterwards seems to have been an afterglow.

2) If you were given the money and resources to make a film out of any novel, what would it be?

My novel. Once it's finished, of course.

3) What is the single best thing you know how to cook? Your "specialty", if you will.

I like making fish and chips in the original style...whiting, in a Guinness batter to make it fry a wonderful dark brown. Big steak fries, and a red dipping vinegar. I see no reason why I should wrap it all in newspaper, though, although, if I did, the New York Post would certainly come in handy. That's one of the only tasks for which the Post is fit. Another one would be lining a bird cage. By the way, I also make a fantastic omelette.

4) What's the biggest lie you ever told a close friend?

"Your girlfriend's beautiful, the two of you make a great couple." Seven years after the divorce, my best friend has forgiven me.

5) Where was the "strangest" place you ever had sex? At least strange by vanilla standards.

On a billiards table finished in ivory, with a maroon top. My knees are still bothering me.

6) Who is your fictional counterpart? (Film or print) The one make-believe character that is most like yourself.

I've never been asked that question before! I really don't know...

7) You're sitting at a bar. A priest and a rabbi walk in together and sit next to you. You turn to them and say, "...

(to the barkeep)...oh, God, give me another!"

8) What single sitcom do you consider the funniest of all time?

All In The Family. Because that was MY family when I was growing up.

9) If you could be granted the talents of a virtuoso at any musical instrument, what would it be?

Oh, man, would I love to play the vibraphone! Man, it would be Art Blakey and Horace Silver and Miles and Cannonball trading off, and me on the vibes...wow...

10) Which pet from any point in your life was "that special pet"?

That Special Pet is here right beside me. She's 18, and coughs up a hairball every night the size of an ATV. She waddles, and you could hear her joints creak when she walks. She's high maintenance. Despite it all, I love Cleopatra very deeply.

11) What was the thing or experience that terrified you the most?

Having to see and hear that guy at NEST, the dude in the long hair and beard, while he was tied to the cross frame. You'd have thought he was undergoing interrogation in Abu Ghraib.

12) What do you think was the greatest NFL dynasty of all time?

I don't give a crap for dynasties. I have the five Super Bowl appearances by my beloved Washington Redskins, and hope to see yet another after someone slips a halucinogen in owner Daniel Snyder's drink, which sends him strolling to the roof of the Department of Labor, and makes him jump.

13) Which vice or habit do you most wish you could make disappear?

My anger. My impatience with people. My always judging people.

14) What is the stupidest thing you've ever personally witnessed someone do?

I watched some drunk idiot off of the USS Nimitz pick a fight with an officer from the Spanish Civil Guard, when I was in Malaga over twenty years ago. I think the State Department might still be negotiating his release.

15) If you could listen to only one genre of music for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

Jazz. Jazz. Jazz Jazz Jazz. It is sublime, it is so free, so non-conformist. That Miles Davis lived proves that God's is truly an awesome power to behold.

16) What is your Dream Car?

This changes every week :woot: ...right now I wouldn't mind having a split-window Sting Ray, in silver, red saddle leather interior, and Hurst shift. More than enough gusto to make silly, cheesy little tuners look like tiny little ants in my rear view mirror.

17) Even if you're open about tickling, who is the one person you would NEVER tell about your fetish, under any circumstances?

My best friend. He's so friggin' hung up, he would take it all the wrong way. But then, he's SO hung up, I'll bet he really doth protesteth too much, and who knows? Maybe he gets off on wearing panties from Frederick's. I hope I never find out.

18) At what moment did you feel most alive?

My wedding day.

19) If you could tickle-torture any one person, but ONLY that person, for the rest of your life, who would it be? ('Lees, same question, but you'd be picking one tickler for the rest of your life.)

My first girlfriend. Man, would I love to tickle the stuffing out of her forever!

20) How do you feel?

About what? :illogical

2) If you were givin the money and resources to make a film out of any novel, what would it be?

Anne McCaffery's Dragonriders of Pern.

Good answer, I'd completely forgotten about this series but it was one of the great ones (until it turned into "The Dolphins of Pern" and then presumably "The Slightly Tipsy Thieves of Pern" and "The Randomly Included Songbirds of Pern")

Also rewards for the best answer thus far to the priest and rabbi question. ::lol::
