Two Truths And A Lie

Here is a cute game I remember from somewhere. Someone states two truths and one lie and people need to guess the lie. The person that guesses the lie correctly gets to state there two truths and one lie.

I will start us off...

A) I fixed pinball machines with my dad

B) I designed blood tests for 13 years

C) I was a licensed pilot for a time.

First person to spot the lie gets control.

A) I raised a Italian Cypress tree from seed

B) I raised a pine tree from seed

C) I raised a kumquat tree from seed

Edge is right. It's B. Pine trees are very hard to grow from seed. The seeds need to be refrigerated for 3 months then in the freezer for another months before you can even plant them.

Mils got it (C)...but it is not far off the truth because my brother actually broke his arm from wrestling me as a kid. My dad would have Friday nights be wrestling night (my mom hated it) and he jumped off this little desk to give me a Macho Man Randy Savage elbow and slipped, fell and broke his arm. That was the end of our wrestling careers lol.

No, it makes me sad to remember, but A) is true. Being unable to swim, he chose to drown himself in the Charles River. He left a note for his psychiatrist thanking the man for trying to help him. Ever since then, I have been deeply skeptical of psychiatrists.

I was hoping it was not true

When I was at UCLA 2 people commuted suicide in the chemistry graduate program. Very sad.

The lie is B). Both of my grandfathers died of heart attacks, one at 65 and one at 75.
