Video Clips Forum - Frustrated

I tend not to pay any attention to what goes on in the vid clips section for the simple reason that if it doesn't affect me directly, I have little interest in it. I like to let people do their own thing. Not that I disagree with Zen... I guess I just have the blinders on when it comes to what other people are doing. I usually just try to focus on my own stuff. I will say that recently I have been releasing videos I did years ago for the first time as full videos, and creating new samples. I do this not to "trick" the customer into thinking it is new content (It is clearly labeled "From The Vault") but to reach folks who may have missed it when i first released it ages ago. And it has worked overwhelmingly well, as they have been selling steadily, and I have gotten positive feedback. I hope as tickling producers we can all just get along, I mean... We produce tickling videos. I for one consider myself tremendously lucky to be able to do what I love.

How many producers are actually making FUCKING NEW CLIPS?!!!!!!!

Has anyone noticed the "George Lucas" Star Wars thing going on, the same clips released and re-released and re-re-released over and over and over again? Literally every day I see the same titles up there.
"Here's the clip. Here's the clip in DVD format. Here's the clip in this other format. Here's the clip again, cleaned up, in better quality. Here's the clip, ...again...."

I mean, if you're advertising a clip that was initially released 5 MONTHS AGO, much less TWO OR THREE YEARS AGO, you need to give it a rest.

I don't get that either.........

I haven't seen a new clip form Brazil tickling in months, but they alwas seem to have an old re formatted clip on the front pages of the vid clips section.

Do people actually re purchase clips they already have, simply because the producer re releases that same old clip in HD format?

Producers publicly sniping is funny.

To me, I don't look for "individual" clips, I find a producer and follow his work. If you suck the first time, you'll probably suck each subsequent time, so I rarely bother with more than two or three companies at a time.

You two producers shouldnt be goin on like this man. believe it or not, you guys are 2 of the producers that helped turned this scene around for me when things got grim back in the day for tickling vids. I remember the plethora of amazing original material that came out just as i discovered this community in 2000. (psycho4048's forum in 2000, then reopened in 2003 i believe??) I havent posted much but ive been here since the beginning. when i discovered these types of videos I had to choose from MTP, realtickling.com in its PRIME with priscilla and TIB workin those ladies! then you had ticklingparadise, which was amazing in its prime, channel x..which was that australian one, ticklingholly, solefully yours, and.....fm concepts. but alas it wasnt too last because after a few years half of them quit, and the other half starting puttin out crap for some reason...but alas...the new producers come out and revitalize things..from there i started enjoying the work of james darke, silvercherry, ticklecentral, addie juniper, yaqi, bostontickling because im from boston lol..but live in texas due to my military obligation, so i like to see a taste from home, zentickling for your amazing foot tickling videos and gah..roxxy!! and waytooticklish for your amazing brand of the kind of tickling some of us enjoy...non-stop harder type tickling. the point of all that rambling is that everyone offers something different to the table, and it seems that over the course of the time that producers have found a way too fit in with one another. I see them regularaly sharing models, and enjoying it. part of the appeal in that is that you get to see a woman tickled by different people, with different styles. Its sexy to see cali logan lightly tickled by brooke, then to see her tickled like mad by waytooticklish or ticklecentral. it adds another dimension to the material. lol but anyway my original point was that this is a business you guys are right, and im sure there are gripes between the producers, but the difference between this and giant corporations and what not with highly competitive areas...is that this is a community as well, and when people start not gettin along everything suffers, the product as well as the business..Anyone around here remember wayyy back in the day..the constant ranting that a few of the OLLLD producers used to do...on message boards, in forums, wherever they could find a forum... i remember that puttin a bitter taste in my mouth about the company, and me stayin away from their products for awhile. you guys arent like that at all, dont get me wrong. but you are both fantastic producers that put out A+ material. and i find there is more then enough room for the two of you to do your thing.

This post is not calling out a specific producer (though I needed to use a couple examples, wtt's post happened to be one of them). Like Addie, I use this form as a producer and a member, though I just use one name. You can check my posting history.. a lot of it is in the discussions sections. I use this forum for more than just selling clips.

I didn't post because these titles/descriptions affect my business and I want to take others down, I posted because it drives me crazy. I did have a bad day at work beforehand, so maybe I was just in a bitchy mood.

I think it's cool that not only do we have producers hawking vids but also producers with legitimate tickling fetishes chiming into conversations and using the forum to it's fullest.

Kinda makes their product a little more genuine.

Okay, so this is how I see it as:

Have you seen those goofy commercials featuring lower-tier car companies such as Hyundai and Kia? Now have you seen the quality of the commercials by companies such as Lexus, BMW, etc? These are called gimmicks. The lower the quality of the product, the more gimmicks are needed in order to make it seem more appealing.

I have to agree with Zen on this one, I hate it. Especially when some people do *NEW* and it's a few months old. But the biggest thing is: It's not about what pleases the producers, but what pleases the consumer. I'm much more likely to buy a BMW or an Audi over a Kia or Hyundai because it presents itself more professionally. If you want to use gimmicks to sell your product, that's your choice, don't expect everyone to buy it, though. I enjoy Tickle Abuse's titles the most, it's straight to the point, it's simple, and it's quality is high.

Now, in waytooticklish's defense, he's not nearly as established as most of the other companies, so maybe he feels the need to do something like that in order to try and gain a client base. I personality enjoy a producer who is more willing to allow his products sell themselves, instead of needing to be loud with their titles.

Am I throwing punches at people? Maybe, maybe not, I'm just speaking from a consumer standpoint. The producer I did business with the most were Tickle Abuse and Tickle Central. They were rather simple, plain, and high in quality.

WTT isn't doing gimmicks, just making his thread titles "annoying", and even that really isn't too big a deal. His clips are good.

Zen, you need to ease up and stop going after other producers because you feel like their new releases threaten your earning potential. You contacted me by PM a while back griping about my response to a post by Banshee--he asked if Dixie was the same model as in your videos, referring to stronger reactions that I got from her, and I said yes, and that I thought she had more potential (which was a TRUE statement). Then you make a sarcastic remark about WTT using a model that you supposedly found first. NOW you take issue with the way people title their videos, and while you claim the thread was not aimed at WTT, you use not one, but two of his titles as examples of this egregious behavior. You have a panic attack any time a similarly-situated (production-volume wise) producer posts a new (and arguably better) vid clip...not very "Zen" of you.

You were encouraging Banshee (albeit unknowingly), who was doing everything he could on this forum to smear me. He wasn't being objective, he was trying to put me down.

I've said it many times.. I don't care who a model works with. They need to make money and I have no right to get upset when they go for as much work as they can.

There are plenty of people out there who make better clips than me. WTT and I are pretty different.. he does mostly feet tickling. The reason for this post is because he (along with a large number of other producers) makes it seem like each of their clips is the greatest thing ever made. It gets ridiculous.

Also, if you think people who practice Zen need to be happy and peaceful you are mistaken.

I didn't see Zen's response as anything other than a benign remark about his pet peeves. I have no idea why this thread was blown out of proportion. Probably had more to do with people getting defensive rather than taking it as it was originally intended: a quick gripe about how irritating marketing tactics in the vid. section have become.

Well maybe the trad forum format is not the best way for a site to present new products as most of the audience would be interrested to see entries sorted by thread start date, and not the last post date which is relevant in a discussion.

Also it would be nice to see a good sized thumnail in the list. Lots of times when I open a thread i can see from the pics that this is not me and goes back to the list in 2 secs. Thats both waist of time and traffic
