Video Clips Forum - Frustrated

I almost never click on those because its generally a dissapointment. Its almost as if their deperate to sell a crappy clip lol. Bear with me, Im feeling feisty today lol.
 
I miss the old days when a clip was just two tickling enthusiast going at it in their living room. I think there should be a section for members to upload their stuff and a section for vendors to do the same.

Zen was probably having a bad day, though he does have a point. I usually skip those after one too many disappointments.
 
I'm a producer, and own a clip store, so I'll qualify my remark by making that point.

That being said, I still think it would make sense to have a separate "preview clips" forum from what would amount to a "real" clips forum - that way, the advertising for C4S previews could be separated from "real" clips (home-made, not-for-sale, etc.) material. I don't even post video clip previews that often in the vid clip thread anymore - the second I even do, I get leap-frogged by 83 other "ZOMG BEST CLIP EVER" threads from everyone else. I was posting a lot more previews initially, and realized I was just contributing to cluttering up that section of the forum. Now, when I do post, it's links to multiple previews, and far less often...and I keep my preview/announcements limited to screen cap posts in the image forum, and a continuous update thread in the C4S section. People can find my stuff if they want - I don't really think posting 20 preview clips a day is going to necessarily drive traffic to my store. And again, I do think the advertising/previews should be separate from true "real" stuff - that way, people who aren't interested in buying clips can find the other content more easily.
 
I feel it's likely to be linked with the slight desperation of wanting to sell something, which is why it also happens with (less sophisticated) eBay auctioneers and mobile device apps. And why it probably hasn't overtaken our Discussion and Story forums.

The volume of non-preview clips posted does not meet critical mass to maintain a forum. Thus the clip forum would be folded, and only the preview clip forum continue. Which is sort of silly. We'd still have one forum for clips. So we chose to leave things as they are.

Not wanting 2 start a fight but i mean how is he one of the worst offenders? yeah i'm new ok but i've been around a while b4 this profile plus i looked back on his most recent 5 pages of started threads and besides FREE CLIP nothing else is in caps or anything. So yeah no need for that accusation
 
Read his descriptions. They are full of Hyperbole.

The only ones here who do not engage in it are Tickled Guy and Darth.

They let their work sell itself. Also it is very unprofessional for a producer to complain about anothers practices.
 
I don't put any editorial in the titles of my topics either - I just say what the content is, and let the consumers make their own call about quality.

How can anyone say something is the "best," or that someone's the "most ticklish ever?" It's all subjective.

I meant within their descriptions too. Why not just put, on this day I tickled so and so in a hogtie. I thought she had a nice laugh. NOw you guys decide.

Then leave it at that. If you have a plot of course describe the story in the video.

Otherwise leave it.

The only producers putting out quality videos time after time are Tickled Guy, Darth and James Darke. (Oh and Charlee Chase)

You best all PRAY Kink doesn't do what they are considering and having an all tickling site as they do it better, they'll get real ticklish models and eal tops, and they'll charge 19.95 a month for unlimited access. And they'll stick to no hyperbole.

By the way. I haven't seen you work so I cannot comment on it sir. But it does appear you have kept the hyperbole out of your titles and descriptions.
 
LOL honestly, they are a BDSM company. THey whip a lot and they tickle a lot. The SINGLE best tickling video ever was a DEvice Bondage live shoot with Ami Emmerson. They tickled her solid for 15 minutes. Never let up.

I try to keep the editorial out - I describe what's going on in the clip, and even will state if a gal is only mildly vs. insanely ticklish (to the best of my ability)...or if they're a scream and struggle type vs. a laughing type. There's still some matter of interpretation there, though.
