Yes, Anime, it was with the Phial. I didn't know it was considered a 'cheat' for the game. I just figured if you were able to beat her, it was a part of the game. So yes, the foot tickle is probably much better.
And the only reason I found it easy is because I just find ways to do that fight(Just attack one set of baddies so all that's left is Necro and one assist baddie. Once I got through beating one 'set' of them, the rest became extremely easy.
I honestly think Pally + that defense up you find in the small beach town = insane. Most baddies do no damage, and the most damage I ever received was 30 because it was a multi-hit attack.
So maybe Paladin is fine, because I used the Phial.
It's more like a borderline, I'd say. Since it's pretty damn powerful. Pretty friggin powerful actually! There's only going to be one more thing in the game that has double attack.
That's actually the tactic I setup the fight with. I'm sure there are others (such as chucking lollies at them, that was brilliant and made me so happy), but that was what I tried in playtesting. It's not overly complicated, but it's the start of tactic-based fights.
Alright I gotcha, no more defense up items in the whole game.
😛 Kidding of course. But yea, Pallies are tough as steel. That multi-attack, I assume, is from Arachne? It's a higher miss chance but ignores defense attack with static damage. Expect to see more things like that in the future, among other things (defense debuffs do a good job at balancing paladins).
I just tried to play Live v1.5, but I crash as soon as I hit any button during the menu. The music plays fine, but if I hit "Z" or an arrow key everything hangs up and I have to end the process. I tried restarting my computer but that did not help.

1: What operating system are you running?
2: Did you download and install the RTP?
3. Have you had this issue before with previous editions or is this the first time you've played the game?
4. Have you tried running the game in compatibility/administrator mode?

And of course I'll share. The two scenes I have saved that I loved so much. First, the fly. She was much funs, yes yes. The whole story and the possibility of going too far versus resisting and the "was totally a snake and not me yeah". IT was all very lovely. And the second scene was zombiebitch. She was...an incredibly fun fight. From the attack on Tula to if you lose to her to winning against her and her "Ultimate" torture. It was all a pleasure to read and...a pleasure...erm, anyway, yes. Those are my two scenes. ^~^
