What Attracts You To The Opposite Sex?

It's always interesting to see what different aspects of beauty people have? There are so many different reasons to be attracted, since beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I just wondered what do YOU find to be beautiful and attractive in the opposite, or even same sex :redheart:

Is it true that men nowadays really do reach to aim for that supermodel type persona found in the magazines, with orange-tanned skin, bleached hair, blinding white teeth, and fake boobs?

Or do you find a girl in nothing but a tshirt, a ponytail and no makeup more attractive?

I just like seeing everyone's opinions, so please let me know!

I've always been attracted to the all-natural athletic/fit type--no makeup, no big hair, no fake boobs, fake nails, tattoos, or a million piercings, etc. White teeth is nice tho. Personally skin and hair color makes no difference. I don't judge people by the color of their skin but by the color of their teeth. ;-)
 
I know what you mean.....for me I prefer clean teeth and nails. You can't be picky, I just like clean hands ^_^;!
 
Hormones, pheremones, and instincts... oh sorry... being a little too literal there. 😉

Personally, I like the "girl next door" look. I like it when a girl is naturally feminine but dresses very casually. I also prefer girls that wear less makeup.

Confidence, intelligence, and a good sense of humor are good as well.

Alternatively, I also seem to have a thing for athletic women.

One thing I have to add that I forgot: a big beautiful smile is unbelievably attractive to me. Some guys are 'ass' guys and some are 'tits' guys, well I'm a smile guy. A great gorgeous smile is just irresistibly attractive to me. Probably ties in with laughing and tickling.
 
Hmm, I find any woman who has long hair that's silky smooth and well kept attractive. I also find the girl next door type attractive as well...feminine enough to be told apart from a guy without having to wear frilly dresses, high heels, and too much makeup that make them look like prostitutes instead of your basic average beautiful human being.

Very important things I look for in a woman. Smart, Sense of humor and a sweet disposition. Most importantly, being honest. I am not a looks guy so much as long as the person has good hygeine. I just want that someone that likes to have fun.
 
I love men who are affectionate, sweet, a bit quirky, professional, kind. They love to laugh, have strong personal values, and a sense of passion and goals. (Asking too much?!?!)

Physically.... gorgeous eyes make me swoon.
 
To be honest I never really managed to figure out what ultimately attracts me to someone, but I'll do my best to list SOME of the things...

Purely physical:
Beautiful eyes can be pretty awesome, but overall I don't care that much for looks. When you start liking someone, you will also find that person beautiful. That's how it has always been for me, at least.

Uh... I guess I don't care much for makeup though. When the girl puts too much effort into "putting on a mask" and hiding her true self that is a bit of a turn-off for me.


Personality:
Oh gosh, this is where it gets difficult, because I can appreciate so many different traits! XD

I guess one thing that's pretty important though, is intelligence. I'm not saying the girl has to be the second coming of Einstein or anything, but I like it when she's capable of having thoughts and opinions of her own rather than just "borrowing" them from others.

Other than that, eh, as I said I don't really know what does it for me, but a generally cheerful mentality has predominantly been there in the girls I've taken a liking to. Oh and I guess that to some extent I have the "need to be needed" if you understand what I'm saying, but I still don't like it when that is taken too far. (Stalkers are bad, bad, bad!)

The one thing that always has to be there in the girl though, is this:
The ability to put up with my silly antics and eccentric ways 😀

Oh and when a girl says she likes hockey, that immediately doubles my interest for her. Be it as a friend or as something more than that.
