What do you like to use as a restraint for tickling?

Does anyone have a preference to what they like using to restrain someone for tickling or does it not matter? I've only used handcuffs and this really cheap rope that didn't work too well so i'm wondering what's good for everyone else.
 
Metal handcuffs often chafe and can hurt. There are many types of cuffs made of leather or material straps, some lined. There are softer ropes though they can be hard to tie securely. Satin or silk scarves can work. Any adult store has a variety of bondage gear though good stuff is not cheap.
 
Started out with an under-the-mattress "harness." It's adjustable, but will need extensions for new king size bed. Creates 4 point restraint.
Recently added strong, leather cuffs with soft insides and buckles (new gf tends to escape) 🙂 which replaced the velcro wrist cuffs.
I've got a somewhat crude but less menacing looking spreader bar in the mail. it has two sets of cuffs with the option of wrist and ankle bondage. We'll see how that works!
 
I just lash their wrists together with a belt. And maybe their ankles with a second belt. 🙂
 
We've got a set of leather wrist and ankle cuffs, with large metal rings. As far as holding the cuffs, instead of rope, I use 550 cord that I have leftover from when I was in the military! lol It's much thinner than rope, but a single strand is strong enough for bondage purposes. However, our big, square, Ikea Malm bed is not ideal for bondage. I eventually want to build a bondage board by cutting restraint holes into some plywood and adding some padding to pressure point areas for comfort.
 
Well, I'm 340pounds of bear love, TicklexoxFreak. I want them to stay put they're staying put. That and the more thrashing and squirming the better. And like I've said elsewhere, I'm a total switch, so I'll basically tickle them until they free themselves ... and then they can exact their REVENGE! 😀
 
Under the bed bondage kit has served me well the years. Who knew Spencer's would make such a durable and effective thing?
 
I have a set of 4 soft leather cuffs that buckle like a belt, and they each have eyelets to which I attach and knot a rope and tie the other ends of the ropes to each of the 4 bed legs. It makes a great spread-eagle tie. I also have a number of those spring-loaded connectors which can tie cuffs together in lots of ways including a hogtie. It's all a lot of fun, and it only takes a couple of minutes to set up whatever you want to set up.
 
Nothing's more fun for me personally than just pinning/holding the ticklee. For my videos, we use a combo of rope bondage and stocks, plus some free-form stuff.

I think i'm pretty strong and I have my moments were i'm kinda tough but I think you'd win that fight pretty easily hahaha. Squirming and thrashing always adds to the thrill.
 
I just MacGyver it when it comes to bondage, whatever is laying around. Now that I think about it, always like being prepared and all, I'd better come up with something. I'd say, optimally, my favorite bondage to use would be... a trained octopus. Might freak out some gals though.
 
I think the cuffs people have mentioned are cool - easy to use and very comfy for the ticklee, so no excuse for an early release! 😀

When it comes to rope, the best I think is the bondage type cotton rope that you can get on ebay. It's soft and easy to tie too. A little trick - if you're tying say an ankle, go round and round it a few times (say 4 or 5) - the more times you go round the more comfortable it is as the tension is spread across more of the ticklee's limb. 🙂 There's also hemp rope instead of cotton rope, but only for ticklees that like it rough (like some of our ticklehoneys seem to lol!) 😀

Obviously not everone has these, but any sort of traditional martial arts belt works quite well. They're strong, wide and comfortable.
 
I've also heard of scarves and nylons being used. Used a scarf once and it help up alright. Not the tightest tie but it held together through a session without any re-tightening.
 
I just saw a pair of leather wrist restraints at an adult toy store last night and I just looked at them and looked at them. Now, I've browsed cuffs and restraints online and I've maybe seen some things that are similar, fur, leather, neoprene, cuffs, straps, gauntlets -- all charming but not exactly the right thing.

These were EXACTLY the right thing!

These were the restraints I want to own (and that any self-respecting bachelor should, imo) -- sturdy leather straps in red and black with steel rings and CLIPS! For actual, gorram CLIPS, the sort I've been imagining since I started thinking about this seriously.

At $50 it'd be a more sensible investment if I had anyone around to USE them on, but it's like ... some magical engineer opened my brain, saw THIS EXACT THING, designed it and put it on that display rack.

And I could wear them at parties as an icebreaker (if I went to or was ever invited to parties -- I'm kind of a fuddy duddy). 😉 I dunno -- they'd look really good with a leather vest. If I wore them with a leather vest maybe I'd be invited to a party. 😀

But they were so exactly perfect ... um ... anyone up for a weekend trip to North Dakota? 😉
 
Whatever works is all good to me. I've got plenty of rope but it gets to be very tedious tying someone up. I think I may be in the market for some leather cuffs
 
handcuffs for the win. but anything will do so long as they cant get away
 
Under the bed kit. Works for me. Although I'd probably have more stuff if I could afford it, and had the space for it. But so far it's done me damn good.
 
Rope, belts, handcuffs, anything I can use around the house that's safe and comfortable and strong enough and quick. Anything that requires prep kills it for me. The most prep I've ever had to put into something was a straitjacket which isn't easy.
 
Oh, on the handcuffs... completely forgot to insert this bit.

I mean, yeah, I had the metal ones but when I used them, I just stuck something soft between her wrists and the cuffs. The one time I remember doing it, I used her socks. No more chaffing.
