what video game are you playing?

Lately I have been playing a good bit of Civilization IV.

Oh, and Rock Band is awesome. Me and some of my friends meet up every week or so and play that for a few hours. Last time I was there we unlocked the Neverending Set, which is 58 straight songs. I really wanted to die about 25-30 songs in. Never gonna see those 5 hours of my life again. Ahhhhh... good times.
 
Smash Bros. Brawl where I just got 100% in the Adventure Mode.

Animal Crossing: Wild World, and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games both for DS.
 
GTA 4 is amazing i queued outside my local at Asda a half 7 in the morning to get a copy for me and my mate sad i know but im glad i did it since copies are thin on the ground. Although does anyone understand a word little jacob says?

You are right tho Slaver, Vice City is still the best out of the gta's vercetti is a brilliant character and the whole theme and setting is just brilliant
 
Currently playing Super Bonk on my SNES emulator for my third Let's Play for YouTube. Fun game. x)

Anything that can get 12 year old kids singing a Flock of Seagals song has to be powerful lol. I know their is a couple of Bryan Adams song on their, is their anything by Colin James, my game is tucked away right now. The thing I like about the Play Station systems is the fact that you can play your old games on the newer system, and they look a little sharper I think.

It looks like I walked away from wrestling at the right time, because everybody tells me SmackDown vs Raw 06 might be the best in the serries. It coolest features are the fact that SmackDown and Raw have different story lines, and that you can pick from 6 voices to give you created wrestlers. Unfortunetly they don't have any accented (sp?) voices I would have liked a Latin Asian or some sort of East European accents to pick from. They allso anonce you "C.A.W." by name (from a list you can pick from) and anounce where they are from. Wow it's come along way from that WrestleMania for the NES (Remember that one?) lol.

You know that the actor Ray Liotta voiced Vercetti, yeah? He's played supporting roles in films like Blow, Goodfellas, Narc, Hannibal, John Q...

You gotta give GTA 4 a chance, dude. I cannot accept such a simple dismissal lol. The protagonist Niko is a truly awesome character.

But yes, Vercetti was bloody cool! Take these broken wings, baby!

Don't forget he was in that movie with Woopie Goldberg. I got my Vice City game, so as far as the rest of the GTA serries goes "I ain't missing you at all (Missing You) Since you've been gone, away." When it comes to villians Gangsta's and East European thug ain't got nothing on the Italian mophia for personality. Maybe when they come out with a game featuring an IRA charactore I will pick that one up.

If you got the guy from Brave Heart who played Steven to do the voice it and had the guy who played Chief O'Brian on Star Trek: TNG as one the "Head Guy" you end up taking on at the end of the game it gould be awsome. Maybe they could base it in one of the cities from they haven't used from GTA 1 & 2 (thats where I think Liberty City first showed up). They could have "Steven" come over from the Emerald Island to the US as an iligal because he has gotten into some real heat back home. Now he starts working for "O'Brian" starting off small and then becoming a Lt in the "Irish Mophia". Then he finds out O'Brian sold out his father some how and then dedicates to taking him out and ta-da their you go 😀

Steven's the name, I'm the most wanted man on my Island, of course I'm not on my Island... moores the pitty.
 
There's actually a fair chunk of GTA 4 where you work for the Irish.
 
all this GTA talk got me thinking. why is it called gta 4 if you count all the gta before this one, its more like gta 7 or 8

I'm not really sure, but this is my guess. GTA's 1,2 & 3 were stand alonde storries. I thinking they saw Vice City as some sort of prelude because it takes place in the 80's but was released in the late 90's (I think it was the late 90's). I just happened to be a a video game place (just picked up a new controler) and saw that GTA: Vice City Storries is the back story of Lance Vance's brother Vic, and Liberty City Storries looks like it may be what lead to Vercettie ending up in jail before the Vice City. As for San Adreas (sp) I couldn't tell you why they didn't decide to call it GTA 4 instead, except that they just didn't feel like it. I also remember a GTA London, but I don't know anything about it either.

I hope that helps, it's just my take on it.

The simplest way to look at it is that GTA 3 was version 3 and vice city and san andreas were updates on 3

GTA 4 is effectively a brand new game using an entirely new graphics engine and physics system so i wouldnt expect the next GTA game to be called GTA 5 unless it was a massive leap for technilogically 🙂

I just read an article that guitar hero 4 is coming out soon didn't 3 just come out talk about not wasting anytime in making another game. While im talking about guitar hero, why won't they release a heavy meatle one? Slipknot, disturbed, marylin mansion, etc.
 
Currently, I am playing Soul Caliber 4, for both the XBOX 360 and the PS3, Call of Duty 4, and pretty much every NES game I have sporatically. On the side, I'm also playing Goldeneye, Super Smash Brothers, and Jet Force Gemini for the Nintendo 64.

.....Yeah, I tend to game alot.....
