What was the last movie you saw?

An area university was showing it. They have a 1920's-vintage theater with a 35mm projector with a surround-sound system (which the movie made good use of).

Lots of horror-movie directors could learn a lot from Mr. Burns!

Gah! You lucky bastard! I suppose I'll just have to wait for the DVD release.

Meanwhile, here last nite it was Malatesta's Carnival of Blood, an inept(but totally entertaining) bit of trash cinema from the early 70's.

The Turning Point on the treadmill..Mikhail Barishnikov..mmm or however you spell it..so sexy..i love ballet..

Ah, the 1960's and 70's, The Golden Age of Trash!

I've recently rented this movie.

It's been eons since I saw that, kopfhorer. I imagine I'd enjoy it alot more now than I did when I was a fourth my current age.

One from the Fab Four that I would like to see again is Yellow Submarine! I loved that one when I was a kid, even though I saw it on a B/W set. No shit. I'm that ancient. Yeah, I need to rent Yellow Submarine sometime.

Hey! Have you ever seen The Monkee's Head, from the same era? I finally got around to that last year.

Anyway, I watched Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt in Se7en(or howeverthehellit'sspelled). Second time around on this. Thought I'd give it another chance. Maybe I'd missed something afew years ago, when I first saw it? It's a tight package, and Morgan Freeman shines. Still, it hits a flat note with me. I dunno.

Eyes Wide Shut with Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise..funny i thought i saw most of his movies..Nicole had some nice nude scenes lol..there was much nudity throughout the movie..a strange but intriguing mystery.

I finally got to see Paul Blart, Mall Cop. It wasn't the best movie in the world, but I had a few good laughs. Kevin James is a funny guy afterall. The vent scene for example was absolutely hilarious. 🙂

It's definitely worth a rent after it makes it way out of theaters here soon. I predict a DVD release on this type of movie by August if not sooner.

Just saw the movie Fracture last night. It actually contained 2 short scenes of a nurse running a pen up the sole of a woman in a coma. She was showing the reaction it makes even though she is not conscious. Plus it was a good movie!

I saw "the wrestler" last night. it was a very good movie shooted in nice style following the actors with the camera, very good stuff 🙂

The last movie I saw was "Blood of the Vampires" as presented live by the original creators of Mystery Science Theater 3000. I can honestly say that the movie was terrible, though the riffs were hilarious.

I saw Frankenstein and the Monster From Hell two nights ago. Man, give the Hammer studios afew pounds, and they'd grind out a Frankenstein film. This one was number six in a series of sorts(and apparently their last).

Would you recommend it to someone who knows diddly-squat about the comix?

Hmm... Not having read the graphic novel first you will be in for a surprise. It is an 'alternate Earth' scenario You may love it or hate it. You don't really need to have a background in any mythos to enjoy it. I have my own disagreements with some of the philosophical points being made in the story, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Honestly, I would suggest it. I will warn you that it is graphic at some points. But I won't give any spoilers.

Well, I'm more intrigued by the comments and discussions on it online than I've been with the trailers I've seen. That you enjoyed it despite some philosophical points is interesting.

Graphic isn't an issue...as long as it furthers the story arch in some way(no matter how tangentially). 😉

Anyway, the last movie I saw was Isabeau's man, Vin, in Chronicles of Riddick! It was fun enough. No Pitch Black, but there were moments. Lots of them, really. It was a well-realized movie in graphic terms, too, although it appeared to be the sort of grim future/world I'd want no part of.

Why can't somebody do a (seriously)happy future? :huh

I saw Halloween Night(1988) last night, blazed out of my gourd. Now, I'm not here to promote illegal drug use in any way, shape, or form; but if you're going to watch a movie this goddamn bad, spark up.

Finally saw Watchmen, and it's not exactly bad as everyone claims it to be....

I enjoyed it pretty well! ^_^

I caught The Order of Myths(2008) at our little local "art" theater. I don't know if they're going to make it or not, but as long as they keep showing quirky, original films such as this, I'm there!

Caught Future Force(1989) with David Carradine(R.I.P.) last night. I should have tuned in to Wild Card Radio instead. Cripes, what an awful movie!

The Hangover. Did that guy honestly yank out his tooth for the movie?!?!! What?!??!!?!! :huh

Pelham 123, kind of interesting for the ransom and it actually makes sense with what John Travolta did

How was Mall Cop? I loved Kevin James playing the role of Doug Heffernen on King of Queens. But when I seen the commercial It looked like it might suck the big one.

It's been quite some time since I rented any movies or even watched one on TV, so the last movie I saw was in the theaters, the new Star Trek movie. I had mixed feelings about it, as I felt the movie was somewhat unnecessarily mysteriously vague about the plot at a few points, but overall I enjoyed myself, especially seeing the old characters in a new story, showing how things may have started.

If I were a movie critic I would give it three stars out of four.

It was okay. I was in the mood for a comedy and was expecting abit more humor. Warm fuzzies aplenty in that Disney/Pixarish "loser redeems himself" kinda way. James plays quite a different role than his Queens character.
