what's with the "Views"

i noticed that the "Views" section on the threads seems out of sorts. i highly doubt some threads only have a few views. can anyone shed some light?

As of now, the number of Views is 3.

So I guess something is wrong with the views counter.

I've noticed this too, Myriads. In the stories section, it seems as though many of the stories have much fewer views than normal. Even my stories which dont get many views, have only less than 10, which is way fewer than normal.
Just thought I'd tell of my experience with this.

I may be beating a dead horse, but there is no way some of the threads in the clips section can have 3 or 4 views and 2 replies.

I saw that thread too, I thought I had fixed it though by setting the forum to update counters automatically instead of once per hour. Is it acting up again?

For what it's worth, all the thumbnails posted in the past couple of weeks present a views:0 when ya cursor them. Could be small fish or less, could be part of a bigger thing. Just thought I'd point it out. Certainly not a life-or-death thing.

I have yet another example of this . Last week or whatever I posted 3 clips on the mainstream section and all of them have 0 views on the actual clip or rar files . I find this strange as the replys suggest a number of people has downloaded and viewed those clips .

If you check the link above , notice the views counter is at 0.
(And the replys suggest a number of people has viewed this clip ).
But in the mainstream clips forum , the thread view counter is at 2268 .
How do you explain this ?

I don't explain it, except that obviously the forum is not working the way it's supposed to.
