What's your quirk?

Do you do something that other people would find quirky? A habit that others would find strange?


Some would find this strange, but I like writing. Not like poetry or stories, just writing. I have good penmanship. I've had people compliment me on it. There are times at work where a customer will ask me to fill out their checks, which they sign, and I like doing it.

Filling out a check, filling out the shift sheet paperwork, filling out a charge sheet. Doodling, writing names, letters, words, whatever. Printing or cursive. It doesn't matter. I just like to write.


So what's your quirk? 😀

but in the shower my shampoo, conditioner, and soap bottle labels have to be facing front.
i make my sister do it too. i hate when they are all turned opposite directions.
yeah. that's definitely OCD.

I always have to lay my wallet, keys, and watch, in the exact same spot in the drawer of my nightstand when I come home every day. I place them all in the corner, against the side wall of the inside of the drawer, and never anywhere else. Granted, I have other things inside that drawer, but I could put the items somewhere else in the drawer if I wanted to. Placing them in that one spot just makes it easy to find when I have to leave the house in the morning.

I only just noticed the other day when my friend pointed out that I have an obsession for semi dried tomatoes. When I go to the movies and stuff when everyone else is getting popcorn, chips and lollies, I always stop buy the grocery store and buy about 500g of semi dried tomatoes and just eat them.

I'm very child like. I have habits of jumping on beds, stomping my feet, fingerpainting, coloring with crayons, making faces, pouting, building forts, hiding in weird places and jumping out and yelling BOO...

I do not have a whole lot of Quirks. I am not even sure this is a Quirk but it drives me crazy if I see someone drop something on the ground and not pick it up. I am by no means a neat freak but I follow people around picking stuff up if they drop it.

I have a bookbag that I pack for school during the week, and I always put the same items in the different pockets EVERY day. It's just easier to find everything.

I haaaaaaaaaaaate when shit is uneven. If I'm sitting across from you at a diner or something, our placemats have to be even with eachother. If I go to the movies, I try to sit as close to the very middle of my row as possible. I'll even count the seats on either side of me to make sure I'm in the very middle, if it's not too crowded. If there are an even number of seats, you should see me standing there trying to figure out which one to sit in LOL I'm such a tard.

I'm much like Skippy in terms of being almost overly analytical but I have a lot of quirks - my big two are thinking out loud and I mean other people ask who I'm talking to or what am I saying to which I reply "I'm just thinking out loud" and humming a tune that gets stuck in my head incessantly and repeatedly. Whenever our cat walks up to me, I’ll often sing out loud whatever song is in my head, substituting some of the lyrics with his name, physical attributes, and behaviors.

But he never shows any appreciation for the effort, and is only interested in the can of food being open as quickly as possible.

I have a couple. First, I love to make up stories, and I usually do most of the framework in the bathroom, no joke. I came up with an idea for a Star Wars fan fiction piece that made it on paper for a class while taking a shower one morning. I have loads of unfinished stories in my head. It drives me crazy sometimes.

I also have a tendency to play with my glasses a lot while thinking. Pushing them up on my nose, taking them off, adjusting them...

Oh, and I also unconsciously move my leg while sitting down. Has annoyed many a family member and girlfriend. 🙂

Whenever my moustache grow enough, I start pulling them all the time, which is why I prefer to be clean-shaved, rather than pull my facial hair like a madman 😀 Also, I tend to squeeze my ears a lot, especially if they're cold 😀 And in the end, I almost always drive with one hand, which freaks many people out, because I am more of a fast driver 😀
